Frankly, whether it is deep blue chips or light silver pennies each have their pros & cons. There isn't such a thing as blue chips are safe investments and pennies arn't. Even the bluest of the blue, if the Market is not interested, the price would've to move south. It really all depends on how the Market looks at things and could change the landscape - low could change to high and vice versa!

The Market is always dynamic and has a life cycle of its own ...the music never stop, it only changes tune! So always dance to the music according to the changed tune and always keep in steps! Cheers!

This scheme has been around for years and unfortunately it still works. In addition, even if the stock is not being "pumped", there are still major problems with these stocks such as a lack of liquidity. Sometimes there aren't any buyers and you can't sell. Also, there is a real lack of financial reporting. This can be a problem with any stock, but penny stocks generally fail to meet up to the standards in order to trade on major exchanges.

Here are a few tips that covers common investing mistakes regarding penny stocks:
  1. People "Buy" into the hype of penny stocks. Many people are attracted to penny stocks because of their low price and potential for rapid growth which may be as high as several hundred percent in just a few days. At the same time, most of them lose all their value over the long term.
  2. Don't buy stocks under $5 per share.(SEC grades stock below $5 as penny, not a dollar) Just like with penny stocks, there is a reason that a company's stock is at $1 a share. It usually because the company has major financial issues and no one else wants to buy its stock. Yet, these are the type of stocks that will hit your email boxes as spam. Brokers will tell you it is the next Google and that you better get in now. What they are not telling you is that as soon as investors take the bait and buy it, the brokers are going to dump it and take their profits.
  3. Don't buy low volume stocks. These days, many investors shy away from buying a stock that does not have at least 100,000 shares traded PER DAY on average. This way they know that if they want to sell their shares on any given day, they can do so with ease. A stock that trades 10,000 shares a day may be hard to get out of when you want to and at the price point that is desirable as well.
  4. Don't buy a stock with an unusually high dividend yield. If you see a stock that has a dividend yield of 20%, there is a reason. In all probability, this company's stock price has gone down so dramatically that it pushed up the dividend yield. However, it is a sign that in many cases the company is unhealthy it serves as a warning sign to astute investors to stay away because they are probably on their last leg. General Motors is a perfect example of this with a 20% yield. You may not want to own GM, even if it survives, it will be quite a while before this is an attractive company to own.
  5. Don't buy a company that doesn't make money. The true sign of a good company is that it makes a profit. If it doesn't make a profit and it's not projected to make money in the next year, then avoid it like the plague and go on to a stock that makes money. You would be surprised at how many investors buy a stock based on nothing more than a promise of what it may do in the future.
  6. Deviating from your investment objective. One of the biggest mistakes investors make is not sticking to their original investment strategy. Do not let yourself get diverted by a hot tip, a sudden trend or a sudden down market. If you are a "growth investor", stay that way. If you are a "value investor", stay that way as well. Don't change your stripes. You can't be the jack of all trades. You have to get to know your niche well because you are competing against investors that have a razor sharp focus.

"Every hand a winner and every hand a loser....

You must know when to fold them, when to hold them.....but never count your money while you're still sitting in the table......

You've a lot of time to count them when the deal is done."

This is quite true as far as investing in the STock Market is concerned!  Cheers!

The point is that you have to differentiate your position - long for pennies with good track records and trade short term for pennies with short term theme.

After the initial big bull run, there will be a rush of analysts' revaluation report on undervalued pennies. These so-called big pennies will play catch up and decouple from the daily indices fluctuation  (ie, indices has found their levels and trade in normal range). Similarly, those pennies that over-run their values would face a huge correction and investors could be stuck with it for years.

penny can make you penniless...so be careful...

bought 0.005...sell 0.01 for 100% look smart, but when the rally is over ...

it is zero..you will look very sad and stupid..esp..for those who are caught or greed for more at 2c..

and with the correction delay, every day , the risk is ever greater stayiing in the market...

i thk we are left with little time...

correction is inevitable..it is a question of "when", when the music stop...make sure u are standing on blues...not penny..

 i know some guy say blues also can go bankrupt, but if u compare with penny ..who are more likely to???.

next leg down, buy blues and go supa long, that is my last move ...for this crises..

if the stock is moving, can hold a little while, eg.. TT Intl, Ban Joo,  .. the multiplier effect is rewarding if you bought in big numbers.. you can never sell at peak but you can sell higher than the first sign of run-up....

 Alert Admin 		Depending on what prices you choose to buy.  Last month, nobody wanted SUNMOON, but I went in to buy 2 millions shares.  Last week when the big buyers bought hundreds of millions of SUNMOON at 1 cents, I gve to them for 100% profit. $10K profit for $10K investment. Where to get, huh? That is why so many people love pennies.
