Almost bought 30 lots last week to top up my  current balance.  Now am reconsidering whether i should continue to vest further in this counter,.perhaps i may not. would rather build safety net by diversifying.  Will come back to this baby in the future. Cheers to all.

      Point: Management reiterated  that the structure of a shipping trust
      is to deliver yield and growth, and that its performance and
      cashflows  is not tied to the shipping cycle. In addition, shipping
      trusts need to deliver growth that was promised at IPO. In some cases
      to take advantage of opportunistic acquisitions, a strong Sponsor is
      clearly advantageous.

      Relevance: We hold the view that shipping trusts offer attractive
      yields, averaging 9.4% for FY08 and are lagging US peers which are
      trading at an average yield of 6.7%. Maintain Buy for Rickmers
      Maritime (Buy, TP S$1.80) and Pacific Shipping Trust (Buy, TP
      S$0.52).  We have no rating for First Ship Lease.

 Alert Admin 		yes.. really dun make sense to dump now.. now CD still can get few 100s back. while waiting for some good news(refinancing news).. fall below 40cts will be back to march level liao.. if really fall to that level, even if they are giving 0.06cts DPU at the moment, just go n and whack, hold till things return to normal..

Not all lah. Depend on their management, how they work around on it. A reduce in DPU is a must to help them to sustain during the recession.

During recession, can't ask fr more. When good times come back, u will get back the good DPU again. Cheers pal.

For Rickmer case is more of a mistake they made during good time. Resulting in heavy cut in DPU.

If they know recession coming, they would not have commit all this mistake. Anyway no one can predict when the recession arrive also, they are human like us.
