This is very typical of institutional fund managers which sell low and buy high, trading to their disadvantage. By doing so, no matter how much shares they have traded from earlier this year until now, it is still a net loss to them if overall they have disposed more shares at lower prices and now buy back lesser shares or even same number of shares at higher prices. Luckily they buy back now, or else the total loss will be even greater had they waited for Straits Asia to rise more in their share price to buy at higher share prices. This is fear, greed and hope displayed on a larger scale in institutions. Many large institutions may not make totally sound investing decisions at all time too.

Not to worry about embarrassment.

I too started knowing nuts about TA. but it is my passion and desire to make a living out of trading tat drives and motivated me.

All of us start from beginning, we learn everything from beginning, be it swimming, cycling, etc, practice makes perfect and by posting, u learn from others opinion n make improvements along the way.

I still remember the day I started learning swimming, everyone around me was laughing me. saying I m like a rock, I just ignore all this noise and persist, now I m a good swimmer.

Actually, I already did an analysis (although I dun claim to be an expert and I may also be right or wrong, but by posting, I hope to also learn from other expert), but intentionally withold from posting as I wanted to give newbies a chance to post and learn by exchange pointers.

Remember TA is not infallable but is a necessary compass to a true TA practitioner to time entry and exit n stop-loss just as satellite navigation is to a plane or ship .

No hard feelings n no offence intended, how about why not u give a shot n share your TA.

If u r new to TA, I had created a thread "Learning TA", search for it n learn as much as u can, hopefully one day, u u can join us in the TA camp here to share n exchange pointers.

I always say: Master TA n you r the master of your trades n the adage: "Learn how to fish n u can fend for yourself forever, relying on others for fish n forever u r reliant on others.

I will try to share my TA if time permits, as I m quite pre-occupied today.
