Do consider and compare the operating businesses between different shipping trusts before deciding which one is better. A higher annual distribution yield may not mean anything more than a lower distribution yield since distribution yield changes continually depending on the total annual DPU versus current unit price (unit price changes continually due to stock market action). The underlying economics of the shipping trust's business may likely determine which one is a better long term performer and can provide growing sustained distributions through the years. Personally, I don't know much about the businesses of shipping trusts, so cannot comment much on how to compare the businesses of different shipping trusts. Anyone who knows about shipping trusts' businesses willing to share here? |

erm.. pct close at 0.245US cents x 1.44 = 0.35 SG cents assume dpu = 0.0098US cents x 1.44 = 0.014 SG cents Annual dpu = 0.014 x 4 = 0.056 Yield = 0.056/0.35 = 16% ?? |
