Shareholders unite!!! You guys should grill management and ask them to have the decency to step down if they are not up to the task starting with Chia. BT report hit the nail on the head on the reasons for the rights issue. Deja Vu! A replay of 2002.

In this falling knife market, very sure CHRT price will be below right issue. Smiley it's true , semiconductor is dying and closing coffin.

13000	$ 0.100	$1,300.00
27000	$ 0.07	$1,890.00
40000	$ 0.080	$3,190.00

4000	0.80

to square off the 37 lots to 40 lots... after 10 to 1 consolidation, your 40 lots become 4 lots, then price would be 80 cents... so you will be holding 4000 shares at 80 cents... of course if you want to use 37 lots as calculation,

10000	$ 0.100	$1,000.00
27000	$ 0.07	$1,890.00
37000	$ 0.078	$2,890.00

3700	0.78

I do not know the Chartered counter name would be Charted 500 .. so, to be crystal clear, just make it 10 lots size.

share consolidation is a bad thing. just look at past history of companies doing that, all the share price went down.

there are cases that the share price after consolidation went back to the pre-consolidation price; that is a loss of 90%

Diff faith with GAR n Capland. D consolidation following up with R offer, thats kill. There are k of stocks for better bargain, nowadays.

Temasek is not going to bailout CSM just to privatize it and let it bleed on their already battered portfolio.Seriously, if I were a shareholder, I would demand that the senior management lot and the current board of directors be removed.

all the while, I thought Temasek will press down the price, and just delist the shares, but now it seems like they want to do cost averaging first.... this crisis is going to hit hard on consumer products too, who will buy x-box in the US while their house are put on auctions?

Wah! u got it in Horse CLY, 02, now alrdy Ox CLY liao, still holding ah. Really no horse run liao.

Then your R alrdy converted to ordinary share n added into your total holding. Henceforth, d coming R issue, if approved, u will be offer in pro-rata of no of R as ref to your holding, in CDP.

D other thing is that during the consolidation of share, read d instruction carefully n note d X date for the consolidation.

I have been thinking why T only sponsor up to 90% of the rights issue. If T take up 90% of the rights, it share holding in CHRT would have reach 89%. 1 % shy of listing requirement of 10% float.

So this is not an "exit" offer afterall........hmmmmm....what are they up to ? CHRT really need money ? CHRT claimed that they have flooded amount of credit line.......

Or they wait for 6 months and make an exit offer.........because in the last 6 months, they have bought some at high price ?

Just my thought. Totally not vested.....

How to consolidate 10 to 1 in after April, when CSM is losing money all the time?

Must ask Chia Song Hwee to hang himself!

Many years running semiconductor, still doesn't know how to fully utilize SECS/GEM automation, it's still using so many operator. Comparing with 300mm production in Taiwan, there is no operator in the Fab at Nanya-Powerchip-TSMC-UMC. Only CSM is employing a rule of 80% time in the fab for every employee, which they monitor from their contactless card.

NO WONDER always spend so much money to pay operator when it's not necessary. DAMN STUPID MANAGEMENT!

Heng Tamasick sub going to absorb 90% of the total R issued, pending approval of R later. If not, leave it to open market to absorb d 6.87 b of ord share, today it will die urgrily liao, though cheap cheap 10 give 27 generously.

Every Father n Daughter shouting that it is not wise to raise fund thro' R issue under current financial situation. But seems like d voices are too soft. Looking at HSBC, now AK teh-sarabat also dun hv liao, though Teck Whye kopitiam got selling.
