Beauty China's fundamentals remain intact with no slowdown for China retail sales, says UOB KayHian; reiterates Buy call, keeps target price unchanged at $1.38. Blames fears of slowdown in consumption following China snowstorms, earthquake and concerns over margin squeeze from higher raw material prices. But says China retail sales still solid, registering record high in Apr whilst new products, increasing utilization rates should help ease margin pressure. this is from MFT predicted on last year June !! it was really make my toe laugh !! hahahah..... ask tell better go to sleep.... |

A report at Businees Times, The Chairman, Mr Wong still owes $800,000 after the forced sale of his martgaged shares on the last few days. Now his stack in the company is at 32.28 %. I guess it's not hard for a Chairman to raise $800K if his Company is fundamentally sound. Stay Out!!!! |

Thanks for the view. Just thought the drastic fall in price is unwarranted. NAV is about 45 singapore cents. serious discount to stock value. that's why i thought it is worth looking.

Yes, does not mean that co is in trouble but given current market sentiments, its like adding fuel to fire. PP would be asking why the need for the chairman to divest if there is nothing wrong. If uncertain, selling would be the preferred option.

MR Wong had been selling >20m shares within last few days due to force sale of mortgaged loan.....doesn't sound positive at all..

BEAUTY CHINA HOLDINGS LIMITED POTENTIAL SALE OF SHARES BY THE MAJOR SHAREHOLDER The Board of Directors of Beauty China Holdings Limited (the "Company") has been informed by Mr Wong Hon Wai ("Mr Wong") that he has been approached by a potential purchaser to consider a sale of all the Company's shares held by Lucky Gain International Limited (the "Potential Vendor"), being 137,456,007 shares representing approximately 38.57% of the share capital of the Company.
