Fraser & Neave Feb 17 CIMB-GK, Feb 16 We lower our FY09-11 core EPS estimates by 0-19 per cent to factor in slower inventory turnover and F&B income. We also reduce our end-CY09 RNAV by 13 per cent to $3.80 to account for: 1) potential capital drains to recapitalise FCOT; 2) lower valuations for its stakes in listed entities; and 3) lower ASPs. We continue to peg our TP at a 30 per cent discount to RNAV to reflect its holding company structure and rising risks of asset writedowns. Accordingly, our TP drops to $2.66 from $3.09. It's is hard to predict the Bottom but one thing for sure is that this counter's share price has been subsided very much from its peak. I guess for those who are long, present price $2.87 is good good price. I vested it at price of $4.XX and $3.XX but i'm still optimistic about its future. |

It's all betting.... in this regard (with all due respect) , veterans are no better than beginners... It's more important to make sure you cut loss early when ( not if) you are losing... hehehe...

hi there everyone. i am a beginner in stocks. still learning alot of stuff. i know F&N is definitely a good company. but is it the right time to buy this counter now? or should we wait for something like after they release their 2009 Q1 results? i actually lost money in my 3 lots of Capitaland... haiz.... Fyi....Its Chairman LHY bought 200k lots @$5.65 1-2 yrs back, to make thing simpler for u, just wait for him to buy again then follow suit. Hehe! Or, buy when the market bottom which i can't tell u when and how. |

I am stuck with some lots at more than $6 bot more than a year ago. This is one blue chip counter that is below $3 and dividend is not bad. Can anyone advise if this a good price to average down? |
