if you read the news in this week, there are news saying at this current price, many people eyeing to takeover or acquire the company, simply because it is too cheap... well, so if that happens, nothing new to us.. because we all know this is the trick BB use... so, if you buy at $10 or $5 dollars, too bad... you will be eaten.

My good friend bought at $6 thinking it was cheap, then as it fell, he averaged and averaged until it was about $1.00. Then it fell to below and he had to subscribed to the rights (I think it was around 60 cts). He invested at least $3 million on this cheap counter.. | ||||

Semiconductor industry will face tough years ahead. In good economic times in recent years, they are still struggling so what more in bad times. Unfortunately I think the industry will be keep running as otherwise many in Singapore will lose jobs. | ||||

Chartered is a really unprofitable company. When times are good, their profits are not as competitive as their competitors. When times are bad, they struggle to keep themselves afloat. This counter has been wiping out shareholders' value year after year. With the economic outlook being so bad, it is likely to have a impact on their financials.
