It definitely will not sink. As long as there is demand for oil, the oil & gas and the offshore & marine industry will always be there. Singapore is a strategic location for shipping routes thus the shipping industry cannot sink too. It is just another economic cycle that we are going through now. Blogging at moneytalk.sg on the stock market, ETF and anything to do with money. |

Looks like companies such as Keppel Corp, Swiber, Ezra and other shipping industries are greatly affected by the downturn. Do you think they would ever go sinking? My dad used to tell me that where there are waters and seas, the demand will always be great and lots of money working in offshore. It is a matter whether are you willing to sacrifice your freedom, safety and time to commit in these industries. What are your view guys? |
