Not posssible. If you study the way we do and did things, you will know it is not possible to reduce the tarriffs. Your PUB bill is "nap shot" to go up as announced. The fall in crude oil is anticipated already long ago. It is the timing, it is usually at the downturn of raw material costs, that our consumer costs go up. "It didn't go up much when related costs were going up", bureaucrats will say. Same as taxi fares, bus fares and probably MRT fares. They went up when fuel cost was about to go down. This is applied pyschology. In return for higher bills, you get some handouts. The handouts will somewhat reduce the hike. But honestly I prefer handouts without paying higher costs or the other way round. |

With the sales of the power plants........foresee the bill going up...... With the reason of crude oil going up ......bill going up 22%..... NOW crude oil drop to US $96.........will the bill drop insteat of up 22%......... Money getting smaller and smaller......... |
