not need to argue folks, my second portion of biosensor will rise to 70 cents very soon, ha ha hah haa...

results simply fantastic !!!

In summary, nett profit USD 16.5 millions dollars compared to last year USD 7.9 millions , a surge of 107% ...

Some highlights.. Licensing and rolayties revenue surged 700% to USD 40 millions !!!!

No need to fight la - Bengster's doing a lot of the investors a great service with his informative posts. I find it funny that some people just die die want to criticize/make noise without any TA/FA basis.

And btw, it's downright rude to call legitimate investors eunuchs. The forumers know who are the reliable posters, and who are the poseurs.

I have realised that when BIG falls, a lot of ppl will come out and blame Mr B....why? and when BIG went up, these ppl will not come out and thank him...LOL!

and bengster's right, actually. you can check counterparty by asking your broker. also, just because it was MS or ML the last time, doesn't mean BNP can't play this time as well. BNP is not a regular name on our market, so if they are buying, i'd say bengster is more likely to be right that they are buying for a client rather than house traders.

and really, give bengster a break. Just because he invests on fundamentals, doesn't mean he's wrong. Moreover, he's already said he's in for the longterm. And his call for this counter has been consistent whether it goes up or down.

Forums are precisely for different opinions to be aired. No one asks people to just buy on his words, or sell on another person's words. Every investor has to be responsible for themselves. Besides, what's the point of everyone agrees? Someone has to win, someone has to lose.

It's all part of the market. So cool it, folks!

It is not difficult to check who was the counter-party that transacted with you. Just call your brokerage and ask them. If you just sold, ask which brokerage bought from you. If you just bought, ask whcih brokerage sold to you. Simple as that. Nothing about bullshiting / ridiculous claims or whatsoever. If it is a fact, it is a fact. BNP cannot buy for their client is it? Bird!

The last time was Morgan Stanley somewhere in Nov 2007. They were the counter party that were buying when some of my friends sold. This time round, BNP was the counter party when some of my friends sold. Wake up your idea. I said these are brokerages but duno they are buying for who. Im not suggesting BNP want to takeover this company and just sharing some info here. Don't be so dumb to conclude that BNP want to "invest" in BIG's shares.

Do you have any good info to share??? If not, get a life man.

Ha! Caught you lying again. There were already evidences posted here that you were still strongly urging people to buy at 90cts when SeeNoStar was at the peak and on downtrend. Don't be shameless and just admit it lah. People will forgive your bad buy calls. But you still want to deny it and say people alreay cashed out. Yes, that person that cashed-out was none other than Happyday while urging people to buy, won't die. Of course you made from SeeNoStar, but many that listened to you have to Tiow Lao just for your own meagre trading gains.

Still want to come out and talk-cock. Go and see your own "Next Keppel Corp" at 8cts and "90cts just-buy-wont-die SeeNoStar" at 16cts. Chao Tar is the best word i can think of to describe your self-benefit buy calls.

Now got a lot of "dragons" and "snakes" inside this stock. TA not working now although under normal circumstances in should work. Just hold on to your BIG shares now and don't sell them too early. My personal target is above $1 after TCT2008.

Don't tell me you short Bio, however from your posting you are look like kancheong spider right now. be careful Bio "Xiau one" many cases when run up can shoot up more than 20% per day. Price drop is more gentle so if go long but market against your way you still have many chances to exit. but shortist will easily get squeeze!!!!

I heard BNP Paribas was accumulating over the past few days. This French bank brokerage don't have proprietary house traders here in Singapore (syndicate trader zheng kays). I think they could be buying for institutional buyers. If UxB KxxHxxx or CxxB-Gx Gxh is buying up, it could be their house traders game. Does anyone here that have sold recently checked who was their counter party buying the shares they sold? (esp if your sell queue was bought up by one very large buy up of say 700 to 1000 lots. Syndicates have influence / connections over media reports like Dow Jones Market News so have to be careful when you read such market comments. Real takeover negotiations will only happen after LEADERS results (remember Conor's M&A lesson?) and takeover should be around $3 if it does happen. There could be a chance recent buying is from a potential M&A buyer is secretly accumulating 4.9% now if they have some form of "positive news from hospitals / clinicians/ trial centres" with regards to LEADERS trial results.

On fully diluted share basis (incl share options, convertible loan stock, warrants, etc), BIG currently has around 1.2 billion potential issued shares. An M&A offer at $3 equals S$3.6B or US$2.6B. This US$2.6B price tag comes with CE Mark, confirmation of top class clinical results (LEADERS), a whole pipeline of future generation DES like Bio-flex, Biomatrix-Freedom, Biolimus ABSORB and also 50% stake in China JWMS at the current state excluding the second 50% of China JWMS. US$2.6B for the whole package under Biosensors Group (most importantly a DES technology that can beat Xience DES) VS US$4.1B cash which Abbott paid for Xience R&D program, i think taking over BIG at $3 per share is effectively giving the acquirer TWICE the value of what Abbott paid for for buying over Xience R&D program. That means even at $3 per BIG share at M&A, it is still twice the value of Xience's US$4.1B transacted price. Buying over BIG at $3 is not over paying at all. The most important thing for the buyer is to be able to fully exploit BIG's top class DES technology and China JWMS to become the most dominant global DES player. That my personal opinion.
