haha, cwquah, the boys in this counter very powerful, eh? anyone wants to bet that they'll kena SGX query again today, to which the reply will be "we know of no material reason...." blah blah blah? 
i don't know which is 'worse'. that a counter can be so blatantly ramped up, or that our authorities are powerless to do anything about it. money talks, indeed. ah well. another day, another dollar. |

JJ, BIG has already "turned around" and fundamentally in their best form since IPO. Once BIG make the big break in DES industry, BIG will be unstoppable. The focus now is on Biomatrix's sales in Q1 results to see how the DES market is accepting Biomatrix. But please remember Biomatrix is still not launched in many key markets like China, Korea, France, Australia, etc in Q1FY09. Also, if LEADERS results is stunningly good, expect Biomatrix sales to double within 6 months. I believe smart money will be coming in to buy this stock. When BIG is proven to be the "Best Of The Best" stent company, those foreign biomed / life science / pharmaceutical institutional funds will also notice how come this "Best Of The Best" DES company is so cheap and obsecurely hidden in SGX. Potential takeover candidates could be secretly mopping up 4.9% of BIG. How can the one and only stent technology that can beat Xience DES be worth only 10% of what Abbott paid for buying Xience R&D program? Plus, BIG also has CE Mark, China JWMS, pipelines of next generation DES like Bio-flex, Biomatrix-Freedom, Biolimus ABSORB DES. BIG should be able to cross $1 within 10 weeks. Just sit back, relax and enjoy the Biosensors Getai Show. It will be a very stunning performance and better than Royston Tan's Papaya 881. BIG is not expensive now because BIG was way too irrationally oversold last month (margin call dumping) and unappreciated in SGX. If we use takeover valuation of US$1.4B (Conor) and US$4.1B (Xience R&D program) as a benchmark and compare their "Takeover Valuation VS IPs, patents, clinical trial results, CE, JWMS, etc", I think BIG is very very ridicously undervalued. I think multi-bagger potential of this stock is definitely present. | ||||

Elf cut loss of 5 - 8% is a good practise. I don't think I shall let my stock dropped by 30% and buy again

This is just the first week of 7th month. Still got a few more weeks to go. Im scooped up a lot at 49cts also. I believe it will cross $1 within 10 weeks from now at TCT2008. The Best of the Best DES company should not be worth so cheap. At current valuation, BIG is worth only 10% of what Abbott paid for in cash for Xience R&D program (which is using BIG's older generation Everolimus DES technology). Plus, BIG already has got CE Mark and China JWMS. Xience was just an R&D program with no CE Mark or massive scale clinical trial results when Abbott bought them for US$4.1B cash. Xience will be the global DES market leader over the next couple of years. BIG is the one and only stent developer in the world that has the DES technology to beat Xience DES and takeover their market leadership. This is why BIG will be a very hot stock in the very near future. If you think 60cts is expensive to sell, wait till it cross $1 then you will be super bang. Within 10 weeks we should be able to see it. TCT2008 at mid-Oct 2008 will be it.

daring to play this counter? don't say play la.. I invest in this counter... and all the employee at biosensor are working for me.. because i am the shareholder.. should get the mindset right... for example, u buy breadtalk share, u would love to buy breads from breadtalk, and have meals at food junction.. anyway, as we all know, different people different styles, but it is good to share it all out....

How is everyone here enjoying the GeTai show? The music have not started yet. Just that the musicians got up the stage only and everyone so excited alreay. They haven't even played the first song yet. The singers haven't even arrive yet. There could be some foreign guest star performers to come here at The Biosensors Getai Show. Stay where you are if you have "Choop" a good seat. Once you leave the seat, you may never get back the same good seat. I think the Q1 results could be stunningly good. Biomatrix is very well received after launch and sales of Biomatrix could be a few times above their earlier forecast. The CEO briefing to analysts on 12/08 could be about new profit forecast for FY2009. | ||||

nah, i should be honoured to learn from someone who used to work on the trading floor. :P jj, i must say, you're one heckuva lucky guy! respect your guts for daring to play this counter. and heh, i'll never let a counter drop 30% on me....cos 5-8% drop, i'll stop loss out of the counter already. rather a small definite loss than risk a big unknown. esp if charts show headed down, and worser yet, you know which BB is in your counter. |
