actually, you'll be surprised....most ppl, in their logical state, will not do cost averaging that way. but just ask any person in front of the terminal watching. most of them will keep going in, and in, and in. Ave down all the way til peng san. sama sama for yzj, yl, cosco etcetc. the thing is, charts are only of the past. from them we predict the future. For all the aunties and uncles that their friends tell them 'hot tip', they chiong to buy (usually after a good portion of hte run up is done), then it dips, and they just keep buying. they think it's 'cheaper' and 'cheaper'. am pretty sure a lot of forumers here (prob not writing) can relate to that. it's how ppl get burnt, essentially. you were saying luzhou. same thing, really. if you hadn't gotten out, that'd be bad. anw, at least you're one of the lucky ones. hehe. mebbe we should get you to pick toto numbers. :P |

elfi, no one do cost averaging like that la.. aduh... 1.3, 1.2, 1.0, u want to buy until all the pants wet u see.. that's why, also must practise our prestigiuos Guru, Warren Buffet, do cost averaging only more than drop 30%, and within 6 months period, i follow part 1, but didn't follow part 2.... provided that u know this company is good la.. how u know? gut feel liao lo.. ha ha.. that i cannot answer... but i am convinced about their future outlook...

it's okay , not everyone has the same trading style, at least Temasek is doing cost averaging for Merrill Lynch, heeee.. aduh... $1.40 ? that is like october 2005.. at that time, I am playing Luzhou earn some, loss some.. average out... luckily out dead long ago.. else, now will kena stuck big time... that is one of my lucky escape.. by the way, I only know Biosensor when they are guessing Biosensor CE approved date.. and at that time, i already set a target buy at 0.69, and I shouted many times.. i think u are new here la.. by the way, i am not the type of person who will buy at high.. i usually catch the low.. and now, many times, the low become lower, but again, when i buy at low, i know that is reasonable price at my point of view.. meaning , when market sentiment is good, it shall back to the price level i buy... simple as that. so, did i answer your question ?

with cost averaging, you ave out at the bottom to hope for a turn-around, like what this counter did. need to choose counters well tho. not all rebound so fast. and the px you average at is very impt, too. only after bottoming, and not catching a falling knife. like trader88 says, if you had bought at 1.4, then you buy 1.3, 1.2, 1.0, down to even 70c, by the time it hits 60c, 50c, you'd most likely have lost nerve to buy already. all depends on one's trading strategy. as long as it makes money, why not. hehe. |

Answer is YES ! 0.69 on the way liao la. |

sit back, and enjoy the show... ** i don't believe a quality stock will keep going down and down, well, good stock will have a cycle.. and that apply to many good stocks too *** so, ask me to cut loss at 0.48 ? I am not that stupid... can u imagine if those people cut loss at 0.48, how they feel now? alah.. don't tell me craps that they cut loss at 0.48, and they punt on other counters and they recover the loss.. don't give me all this stupid reasons.. novena33, right? |

Regulatory Update XTENT also announced that it recently received a response from the Medicine Evaluations Board (MEB) through its designated European Notified Body regarding its CE Mark application for Custom NX. The MEB has indicated that it may require additional clinical data, including a randomized trial. The company is working with the Notified Body to respond to questions included in the MEB's letter and expects to meet with a panel from the MEB during the fourth quarter of this year. "We expected to receive questions from the MEB which we believe is typical of most initial submissions," commented Casciaro. "We are working expeditiously to respond to their questions. The opportunity for Custom NX in select non-U.S. markets, including Europe and Asia-Pacific, remains significant and attractive, and we are exploring strategic options related to the distribution of Custom NX in these markets." Casciaro added, "In the U.S., we are engaged in ongoing discussions with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in order to obtain approval of our application for an investigational device exemption (IDE) to commence pivotal trials. We have established an agreed upon timeline of deliverables and, while we believe we are on track to receive approval of our IDE application before the end of 2008, we now expect to commence our pivotal trials in 2009." |

I suggest those who are vested better buckle up and tighten your seat belt. Its going to be a very shiok roller coaster ride. Chinese 7th month is very good fengshui for Biosensors. Getai show haven't start yet. Its going to be very loud and bright Biosensors Getai Show!!!
