AG background, off the sgx website.   ------------ BACKGROUND The Company was incorporated in Singapore on 16 May 1986 under the name Allgreen Investments Ltd. Its name was subsequently changed to Allgreen Properties Ltd. Allgreen is the Singapore property enterprise of the Kuok Group. Allgreen’s core businesses comprise property development, property investment, hospitality, project and property management, construction and building supplies trading. The Group’s assets are primarily domestic. Allgreen is engaged in construction, project management and sourcing of building materials through its wholly-owned subsidiaries - Leo Property Management Pte Ltd, Wyndham Construction (Pte) Ltd and Wyndham Supplies Pte Ltd. Allgreen’s primary focus is on residential property development in Singapore. It has a significant landbank of 2.2 million sq ft of attributable gross floor area of residential developmentas at 31 December 2006. The Group has a successful track record of strong take-up rates for its projects. A diverse portfolio of development projects caters to a wide spectrum of homebuyers’ needs and budgets –including apartments, condominiums, cluster houses, terraced and semidetached units. Currently, the Group has 13 residential projects on hand. The Group’s investment property portfolio includes four properties. The wholly-owned flagship Great World City is one of Singapore’s largest integrated property developments and comprises two 18-storey office towers connected by a 4-storey office podium, a 4-storey retail mall and 304 serviced apartments. Other investment properties are owned through a 55.4 percent stake in Cuscaden Properties Pte Ltd, which owns the Traders Hotel, a 546-room property near Orchard Road; Tanglin Mall, a 4-storey shopping complex targeted at a niche market; and Tanglin Place, a 4-storey commercial complex. -------------- in brief: it listed in '99, i believe IPO px was abt 1.04 or so. co is a s'pore property firm specialising in mid-range priced condos and props. technically its play was in 06 and 07; a mid term counter good for 2-4 weeks play. kinda over now though. Tandem counter is ho bee (HB). they tend to move together. With AG being a lead and HB being the lag usually.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	it's a singapore company.  dealing in properties development.  as of now, this counter seems to be on the quiet side...  probably due to the fact that property market in singapore is not that "hot" at this stage..
