Is ChinaFlex Pack planning some great deal? It will hold a special general meeting soon. Could it be planning something big? If so this will hit back at speculators who downed its share price? Anyone who knows something can please share. Can I buy as it is less than half the value of its asset backing?. |

China Flexible Packaging’s Management Increases Stake in Company through Renewal of Scrip Dividend Scheme - China Flexible Packaging’s management participated in the scrip dividend scheme and was allotted approximately 14.6 million new shares.- The management paid approximately S$4.67million for 14,597,300 new shares in China Flexible Packaging, representing an average of S$0.32 per share. - Improved performance in 3Q2008 is anticipated following snowstorm in February 2008 and continued growth in PRC’s BOPP industry. - This strong vote of confidence is well supported by a positive packaging film outlook as reported by Edge, the packaging consultancy arm of STFIPackforsk.- The Group expects to release its third quarter financial results in September 2008. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the Group expects an improved performance for 3QFY2008 as compared to 2QFY2008. |

Is something brewing here? It cannot simply because of the payment of the dividend. Been sensing some accumulation in this counter. It is trading well below it's NTA of about 65c. Could it be some M&A actions coming soon? Your guess is just as good as mine. |

My broker told me that CFP should be announcing the payment date of the dividend by the end of this month. So be patient. | ||||||

Talking about dividend, would that China Print Power offering 6.82 HK cents ( about Sgd. 0.01208 ) so about Sgd. 12.08 per lot of share be better? It comes to 6.9% dividend yield at the market price Sgd. 0.175 now. I intend to buy at prices around Sgd. 0.17 up to Sgd. 0.195 keeping for mid to long term. (CAVEAT EMPTOR) | ||||||

The latest dividend is CNY 10 cts (RMB 0.10) or scrip option and not RMB 0.0967 as that was the previous dividend. The latest dividen will be paid on 30th May 2008 according to the SGX announcement. Load this shares if you just have spare cash and not trading in and out in the market. Let it float up over time. |

Has the Final Dividend of RMB 0.0967 per share declared for FY07 been paid out? Anyone cares to advise?

Agree. The share price of ChinaFlex P is overly undervalued. The assets is 1.58 times its share price counting the other way round. In other words if shares holders pressed for winding up of the ocmpany they could get almost twice the capital they put in, assuming they bought the shares at 38 cents. Cheers! Released a good set of results for 1Q FY08 recently. Cash in Bank = RMB 350 million. Positive cash flow. NTA has risen to RMB 3.22 or about Sing 61 cents. Current share price - 38c. Almost 60.5% below NTA. Grossly undervalued. Vested for the long term. |
