x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	There is a memory chip slump happening in the last 3 month. You will notice that even Carrefour and Giant and FairPrice are selling SD memory product under star buy. This is very bad. People are dumping memory chip to the retail space. With this, Intel just lower forecast for the Q earning. DDR memory has halve the price per GB. I heard CHRT also make Flash memory ......Can any one confirm ?

HISTORY LOW is in year 2003 , 0.625... i think this is the biggest shit in Temasek portfolio.. but again, any kind souls can tell us hows the semicon industry outlook in the near term? Those people who work at Chartered, Tech, semincon industry should know very well how they are doing... 0.69 is very tempting ..... too cheap to be true !

x 1   x 0  Alert Admin	Chartered is after all an established Semiconductor name and brand for Singapore high tech sector and has alliance with top firms like Intel and IBM, at 70 cents how much lower can it go? Don't forget who owns this company and should it go too low, someone will come and rescue, so shortist won't have opportunity.Also other than buy-backs there could be a merger with stats chippac or privatisation and takeover opportunities. Maybe the oil rich Arabs may be interested in such high tech sectors and make a bid with their oil-rich earnings.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	For the past 8 years, I hv seen CS going up each year counting the price immediately after Chinese New Year.  This year is different. It was down from the last CNY.  Is this the beginbning of a downward cycle for CS?.  But honestly, it is quite cheap at 70/72 cts.

x 1   x 0  Alert Admin	Chartered does have much good news for the last few years. But I personally think this will be a good this year in view of its AMD/Dell, IBM and Microsoft tie-up. These US companies are superpowers in the tech industry. What more can you ask for .... Singaporegal is are right that the market is uncertain about Chartered because the company has kept quiet since its Q1 reporting.  Come this Christmas, I expect the price will go beyond 2.00.
