Pinnacle n de rest of the forumers, Anyone can advise de following of the recent announcement of proposed notes issues and following the M&A call. These two coming together, any implication. As pinnacle had stressed that notes issue will further dilute the share px.. So how abt the M&A (seems to b E3 holding, and mayb one more), which i couldn't find much info on this company.. As far as i noe.. E3 share px pretty low.. could it b another case like capitaland? |

Latest from SGX. M&A on the card!!! The board of directors of Jade Technologies Holdings Ltd. (the "Company") ("Board") refers to the announcements made by the Company on 15 and 17 January 2008. Pursuant to the said announcements, the Company wishes to update shareholders that it intends to suspend its shares from trading as from 18 January 2008. The Company will resume trading of its shares as soon as practicable. The Company, together with another company listed on the Singapore Exchange Trading Limited ("SGX-ST"), has entered into negotiations with a third party with regards to a significant corporate activity. In view of the involvement of representatives and advisers of both the companies and the third party who are based outside of Singapore, the Company requires more time to finalise relevant documentation. |

Its 2 days of blood bath and Jade halted nicely in these 2 days. Wonder will Jade be a $0.10~$0.15 counter by now if not for the halt. Also, is Jade able to avoid the selldown when halt lifted tomorrow? I think sell pressure is still there. |

Indeed.. px matter.. and nothing else.. tis is one of the counter i failed to exit.. kindof sad to c yesterday hit sooo low.. I guess de halt is abt de note conversation matter.. cos of i hope is M&A.. heehee.. |

M&A? But with note conversion going on, don't seem like one. Anyway, as long as the price can go up to $0.50, don't care what is it. In efficient market, the share will price in whatever the news is.

Note is a debt security. For their convertible note, it can be changed to ordinary stock upon maturity. So in a layman term, its a debt incurred by the company and upon conversion to stock, this will further dilute the value of the shareholder. Guess this is one of the few alternative methods left to raise capital when banks generally tightened their lending. And in a bad time like now, this news will onlly sink the sentiment of the shareholders further. |
