0424 GMT [Dow Jones] Yongnam (Y02.SG) +3.3% at S$0.310 in active trade, sentiment likely boosted by hopes of further contract wins for Marina Bay Integrated Resort. Resistance tipped at December's intraday high of S$0.325. Company announced S$47 million contract win for resort on Nov. 6; Goldman Sachs said in note at the time, "further to the latest contract win for the hotel parcel of the Marina Bay Integrated Resort, we believe that Yongnam could potentially secure S$180 million more contracts for this project based on 65% of the total steelwork value for the project." Other potential Marina Bay IR beneficiaries Koh Brothers (K75.SG) and Lian Beng (L03.SG) also making good gains today as investors bet on announcement of new contracts associated with casino project soon. Lian Beng is holding on pretty well ..... It's probably a matter of quick time when Lian Beng reaches it's fair value, the big muscles will turn their attention to Yongnam ..... |

I am also optimistic on this counter given its current book order value, its overseas expansion (growth area) and the fact that it has secured large amounts of loans (means financiers are also optimistic of their business). Accumulate for mid-term (3-6 months) 25-50% price appreciation |
