intertaken, I derived $1.30 at 2x NTA for Amtek. But if the hungry buyer is willing to snap up Amtek, $1.50 is not too high a pricing since it is only valuing Amtek at 2.5 times NTA.

Using MMI as reference, KKR paid 3 times NTA for the takeover.

Last week, globally, MSFT paid aQuantive 85% premium over the last trading price.

my target for Amtek is $1.30, but with fierce bidding, my guess is that there could be 10-20% premium attached to it. So maybe at $1.50

At the rate prices are going shooting UP, it is a done deal! Timeline: using MMI as ref. - it 1st announced on 9 Feb & finalised on 5 Apr, ie. less than 2 mth. So as Amtek 1st announced on 15 Apr, by 15 Jun, deal could be done! Those who've missed the boat, it's still not too late to go in today. 1st hr of trading done 3.6m, mostly @ $1.05 & higher.

hi lucky 168 - Due diligence checks for a suitor takes about a week or at most 2 weeks. takeover price could be at $1.30 - 1.50. Just sit tight everyone who already has the stock. If not, you may take a punt if you believe that the takeover is only a matter of time.

Looks like Amtek is going to have a GOOD time! Now there are more suitors going for the bride, so let's hope that will turn into a bidding war! Smiley

choohian, it's a matter of how much greed only you yourself know.

tuntan888 had suggested between $1.65 to $2.25, but for me, I will stick to my conservative target of $1.30
