ok, firstly, how long your ter had been used? Secondly, is your fixed line connection is wideband(if u still use the 56k modem, actual speed is 33k, then time to change liao) ? if your ter used more than 3 yrs, computer sickness sure hv ones, if u dun do system housekeeping.

try below see can work:

1. check your hardisk usage, min should be left min 5 Mhz mem space for temp file n opt mem while using the ter. If u also log on video while using the ter, then 10 Mhz is needed loh.

2. go drive C, Windows, Temp, delete all files( u can see funny file names ones).

3. if u don't hv the habbit to defragment your hardisk, after heavy usage, say for 3 mths or more, your FAT(File Allocation Table would be messed up some how) Hence, u need to do a system defragmentation to relocate and fix the dislocated FAT. This step can take few hr to complete.

4. go web site, menu Tools, Internet Option, delete Files, History n Cookies. And Delete All button under Password menu.

5. Last but not least, if all the abovementioned can't do any good. bring your KID to the appropriate Doctor Or buy a newer toy to suit your needs. Smiley

This can hang ur computer even longer then U can wait....Ur harddisk needed to do clean up occasionally as there is alot of unwanted temp or cookies around.

4 pages can be in one 22" inch monitor.

u can hide or shrink portion of the windows left, right, up and down for optimum viewing. ie the Live Asian Indices page(10 mins delay) only need 1/5 of the left side monitor. Only need half page for Order page at bottom. Stock Q status push it to the right. Last page on top, SJ need less than half page will suffice for scrolling for title and page reading. There are overlaping on pages, but u can bring them front n back with the mouse with ease.

Then the monitor will be like Picture in Picture mode loh.

U can try it at smaller monitor but it could be very cramp. Hv fund.

Using two monitors is a superb feature with Windows, especially when you need to use one full window.

Thus the full window can be aways used for getting advice from all the great sifus... hehehe... Smiley

yes, hv few accounts to avoid the hassle of plateform hanging, esp when u want to run for your life, ha ha.

open min 4 windows on your screen.

1-showing Asian Indices;

2 Order's page(most efficient plateform, may get ready the counter u want to sell or buy, left only the Submit to click);

3-page showing 3Q for Buy n Sell on any single stock, can sw to see other prices as well.

4-Internet SMS, get ready to call your TR for help(free 20 times, each 20mins talk time). Arrange all the 4 pages so that u still can see the stock pages while u are doing sms or reading SJ etc.

5-of course minimised SJ for ease of getting help fr sifus. 6. minimise subscribed online BT for breaking news(15mins update) 7-optional, minimise account which is less user friendly and give u higher trading limits. 8-whatelse??

Anybody using other plateform and face the same problem?

But it is always Poems..i read.

So far face minimun problem with OCBC...Lim and Tan..unless those problem that occur at the smae time across the board.

Dun worry. Problems with Poems always exist. Its a shame. Just gotta keep your fingers crossed when its time to sell for a profit or cut loss. Cos I have been played out at least 5 times. From profit to loss because of delayed live prices, hang ups, errors etc......... ahah.
