Hi everyone,

I am looking for dividend stock for long term investment.

Is there anyone following this dividend stock? I am thinking to buy ten lots since bank interest is still low.

Thank you

Closing Gold & Silver Market Report – 6/30/2011

By  Geoffrey VarnerJune 30, 2011

GOLD CLOSES THE QUARTER ON A HIGH NOTE – Although these past few days have seen the metal retreat,  for the quarter gold gained 4.4%.  In fact, gold gained 3.1% more than it did in the first quarter of the year.  So far this year, gold has been supported by geopolitical fears caused by uprising in North African and Middle Eastern countries, the natural disaster in Japan and the nuclear crisis that ensued and now the ongoing story in Greece.

The next big stories to watch, as we move into the third quarter, will be the decision about the debt ceiling and what options the Fed has to stimulate the economy now that QE2 is over.  The debt ceiling decision will soon reach its critical point, that fact is highlighted by the U.S. Senate’s decision to cancel its July 4th recess.  They will pick up the topic again next Tuesday.    For now, it seems as if Federal Reserve Chairman Bernanke is content to wait  to see what is coming in the next few weeks.  Between the debt ceiling decision and the ending of QE2 the Fed will have few tools left with which to guide the economy.

At 4:15 PM (CDT) the APMEX precious metals spot prices were:
  • Gold – $1501.80 (down $9.60)
  • Silver – $34.78 (down $0.05)

It is time to diversify your portfolio or recover your losses in stocks.
To reach financially freedom, you need to invest in not just stocks.

Invest in land and get a double return in 4 to 5 years.
It is just about 0,90 lots of GLD for 1 unit of land.

How?

CIMB Research said in a June report that PSL’s venture into coal mining would likely lead to a new stream of earnings, but as the venture is still in the early stage, it is difficult to value the new business.

Nevertheless, CIMB said that construction stocks trade at an average of six times historical price-earnings ratio, while coal miners command an average of 25 times.

“Assuming that this is the potential range (6x-25x) of trading multiple for PSL, its fair value should range between $0.09 and $0.375,” CIMB said.

Starhub, no question about it.

Anyhow buy now also > 7% dividend yield.

Just go in at a good price (currently can look at 2.70 support) and sit back to take dividend 4 times a year.

More stable than Chinese Ginseng.

Be an INVESTOR rather than a TRADER/SPECULATOR/SHORTER started from July 2011 and so on, for the changing of recent SGX capital market transaction mechanism system!

TradeChancellor      ( Date: 02-Jul-2011 10:07) Posted:

this is so typical of the regulatory body favoring the rich such as BBs  as they can gain quite good profits even with a small increment... but small time trade retailers need the bigger jump to  cover commission and intersts if on margin or CFD.....

timqoo      ( Date: 02-Jul-2011 09:50) Posted:

it also affect those $10 and above. new bid size is 0.01 instead of 0.02.

Also, " To cater to the narrowing of the bid sizes, SGX will widen the Forced Order Range for all securities to +/- 20 bids from +/- 10 bids across all price ranges."

the full changes is in the following announcement.

SGX reduces bid size, cuts trading cost
