Normally, investors buy preference shares for their higher interest.

When applying, good to put in wife and children' name oso.

Better chance of allotment. Anyway, buying preference shares

with higher interest is one form of diversification. Good luck.

I could have miss out but I do not see any stock that gain

150% within a 10 mths period. How do you measure a

 share px? Fundamentals or Speculation?

As early as Feb / Mar 2010, This counter has been trading at 0.85c - 0.95c and now after hitting a high of $2.38c recently.

Almost 150% gain.in within 10 mths. It went on profit taking to closed of at $2.04cents. (look like is going to revisit below $2/-)

Captial gain (Yes) agree, after all they have to pay off their huge $6.5b debt to creditors for an agreement of no dividend is agreed upon 

before considering to pay dividend to share holders

Mr. Peter Lim has proven himself to be a successful investor.

Likewise, many investors have gain tremendous investment

knowledges from Warren Buffet and other gurus. Anyway,

PE ratio of 16.29% (based on 8 months results) is so high as compared with current market PE of 13-14 times.

There r business synergies in the medical lines. Anyway I don't know

the reason why PL sold out Healthway. I am sure you also don't know

either not just because for the reason of buying TMC. So don't

Gaastra, I agree with u that PL won't sell. If he want

to exist, he could have sell at $0.18. Anyway, have to

watch the majority shareholders for further action.

My understanding is that if you naked short a counter, you must

cover within the same day.No such thing as T+3 for naked shorting.
