To be a contrarian you need to be different, and unwavered in your decision once you recognized it.  Since I originally recognized that the company has lost and would try to make amends, (  prior to knowledge of 19 placees - more assertive) I classify it as a potential  bent to " turnaround" company.  So I am sticking to my prior plan to invest and take a gamble.  Money can be made and can be lost, if cannot afford to lose, then what to say, right.  If can afford to lose, bet it lah!

One investor needs money to pay for Apple shares, so he must sell some.  After he finished, YZJ should recover, lol.

Oh yes, US$7 per transaction is being charged by Scotts trade.  It is true although I don't use Scotts (I use another counterpart) but it is safe because all US brokerages are insured against losses for clients upto US$100,000.00. (One hundered thousand dollars) under security laws or rules in place.  The insurance do not cover losses in trading, but losses if your brokerage firm goes bankrupt and cannot pay your margin & equity kept  with them.  You don't have to buy the insurance, it is automatic covered under SPIC.

Naturally your hope of " windfall gains" will come true when there is a windfall harvest.  Huat arh!

Always say good things about your counter so that it attracts good as saying bad things will attract " evil" . This is for those who really believe in luck and believe in the unseen.  Hahaha.

Glad to know that Stan Chart is trying to be more competitive, but 0.2% together with clearing fees and GST is still too high to play with.

Saxo is charging US stocks and CFDs (Selected sgx stocks and favourite US stocks) at 0.18 percent, still cheaper than most local brokerages for local stocks of commission 0.25 (iOCBC 0.275) percent.

Now we are in internet age, online is never a problem, why want to pay so high rates?  Let the locals do their own calculation whether to stay in business or eat ownself, " jia ka kee" as time passes.

You can try stan chart new trading platform as well. Charges 0.2% of the price as commission. Pretty cheap if you not buying too much

Option express, think is ok, Search the internet and you can find many online offers.  But don't anyhow choose.  Find out more from their websites and if possible through friends.  Scottrade is one that charges US$7 per transaction, don't care how big the single order

Local brokerages charge you a fee (commission) plus other incidentals.  If no discount is provided, you are paying very high commission.  An example will be, say you buy 10 shares of Apple @US$500 per share, you pay local  brokerage of nearly or more than   US$120 for the transaction  (Not sure how the fu....king sheets they calculated until so high),  but with  the American brokers, they  will charge you only US$5 to US$10 for the transaction.. (US$5 to US$10 varies to specific US Brokers)  See the difference?  You win ok lah, half goes to local,  but that is not really so ok, since if you lose, your backside burnt one big hole, US$240 for the stupiad transaction,  hahaha.

Honestly don't say Singapore cut throat too much, it is just  the norm here. Hehehe.

Buyers are not willing to push up the price yet.  Wonder whether they are buying for support or for accumulation. The queue is always more buyers, but the price keeps falling.  Think selling presently is better.

Actually human weakness is always at play.  When there is a profit and that seems to disappear, the heartbeats fast and the adrenaline fluctuates.  Then you bound to make the wrong decision.  Sell first to see what happens, then you are shocked that it recovered and moves up above your sell price. All is in the mind play.

Fundamentally speaking, this counter is not ideal for those who cannot hold for future profits and those who could not afford small losses versus big gains. The stock market is for speculation as well as for putting in money for future " windfall" gains.    The context is " windfall gains" .  Can it happen? What are the optimum loss that one can make?  All these considerations should be taken into account when you deal with this share.

It has met with misfortune, the price had come down, money had been lost.  Is there a chance for the company to re-coup?  Will there be a turn-around stroy in Oceanus?  All tese question must yeild an answer before one really talk of investing or sellin.  Good luck to shortiests, and good luck to those who are absolutely clear what is in store! Hahaha.

Yes, your friend is telling the truth, but, but he did not tell you that you have to trade with American brokers not Singapore brookers.  For making theat one million in the trading with Americans, you really get that sizeable one.  But if you trade with Singapore brookers, the profit will be only half and half go to the Singaporean brookers.  So remember this advice.  Trade American stocks only with American borkers, and not Singapore brookers, because if you lose with American brokers, it is not much except for the difference in prices, but with Singaporean brookers, it is going to be double loss, understand?

Properties I talked of are from HLH's subsidiary, D'Castilla that are building the condos.

Of course it is too cheap.  The condominiums they  built and selling are receiving good responses from buyers.

Do note that there will also be selling by " allotee of rights shares" who got them at $0.012 per share.  There is still good profit for $3 per lot  Once these allotees completed their selling, then we can see HLH chiog back to 3 or 4 cents. My thoughts could be wrong.

CNY is worth more in the future.  IMF chief hinted that Chinese Yuan could be the reserve currency in the near future.  Wow.  That is doing tons of good for Singaporean business (and of course all foreigners investing in China, and by association Hongkong.)  This is what I am thinking, what about you?
