I wonder, cursing the SGX market down is probably on trend lately?

How to be up up up all the way when all things are not favourable and point toward the south pole! One thing for sure is when the environment is pitch dark, a little light would seem to be very bright! Cheers!

Keep fund raising, maximum utilization of Other Peoplle Money, little care towards their loyal share holders' value are their intention perhaps.Ha.... ha.... ha....

Its like a slap on their mouth. Last time say wanna give max cashflow as dividends to shareholder, next say wanna issue shares, now want to retain cash for repayment of debt. Then, still want to do share-buyback. What they want to do actually!!!! They only keep saying they are confident here and there but what they have actually showed? Everyone should be aware. I went for a general meeting but i feel the management doeesn't seem to know what they are doing. They just do things by what they want and doesn"t seems to look at the overall market. Lacks foresight i feel.

By the way i already sold my lot long ago.

I wonder, what do you want the market to go then?

It is not logical that decades wrong spending and printing money can be solved simply with bailouts with taxpayers' money.

If anything, bailouts have the effect of stifling free market forces, which has been the backbone of the capitalistic system.

We are witnessing live the most interesting time in the history of the world viz-a-vis capitalism.

Let it be, cursing the market down is on trend now by many many, infact almost all traders! What shall we do???

singaporegal      ( Date: 26-Nov-2008 19:22) Posted:

I feel that DBS should have done the pay/bonus cut BEFORE they conducted retrenchment. Then people would not have been so angry at them.

They got it the wrong way round.

That is good. It means share price downward possibility lesser. If no volume means share price no downward right.

At what price do you all think is the bottom for this stock? Given a choice, would you buy one lot of UOB or one lot of SGX+Singtel+OCBC each? The total price is around the same.

Oh no, another blue chip counter of mine with the great losses. I 'll certainly cut loss tomorrow switching to other counter with a relatively low and stable PTB ratio for long term holding.

Noticeably, today selling 3,141 lots one go at Sgd. 0.005, could it be another right pocket to left pocket transaction? It is strange........Even queueing at that price Sgd. 0.005, I just wonder, we could hardly get it done, why, why, why?........

No worry Hulumas. I did notice "that" on several occassions. I'm just curious, how did they know the exact number of shares to pull down/up the price? I bet they must be very sophiscated traders with advanced platform :)

The lower the volume is better rather than the lower the price. That is the way aha... aha... I like it!

One day the trading volume should test only <333 millions/day, that is a good sign market bottoming out!!!

AK opines that with current extremely weak global economy, no one industry or service sector can

escape the bad time whipping.

AK guess, with realistic gauges, local coys are not bottom yet. Gut feeling, may be

after 1QTR 09.

Hope the above are wrong, really.

I think, they may check from time to time with their broker, and I believe Sgd. 0.005 total volume transaction so far was artificial, at present some one keep pressing down about maximum not more than 16500 lots que selling at Sgd. 0.01 which he/she has collected/accumulated at the same price i.e. Sgd. 0.01 from the market at the previous past transaction volume before.  In order to get its cheaper/lower artificial price at Sgd. 0.005 or perhaps getting from the margin force selling investors he/she purposely transacted its price at Sgd. 0.005 from right pocket to left pocket. I suspect so far, a lot of unethical trading towards many penny stocks........ just beware!!!

Beware... sometimes it can not be ruled out, the transaction is simply from right pocket to left pocket just having certain intention from some one/group personal interest. Just pure guessing, and no intended offensive!

jng1103      ( Date: 19-Nov-2008 13:36) Posted:

good... 150 lots were transacted at $0.005... lets see if it will bounce to $0.010... however, the question remains: when is my turn??? haha... :)

Patience, perseverance, lowest possible end level entering price, and substantial holding power of accumulation and riding a longer period of exiting profit taken price........ those are the essential key issues for successful penny stock genuine investors!!!!!!!!

jng1103      ( Date: 19-Nov-2008 11:48) Posted:

there were/are no transactions lately at $0.010. I am not too sure how long will it takes to break this resistance... a good learning experience for me with penny stock... difficult to sell with no volume
