Yes, you can go to see the sell queues and anyone can notice that at every bid up, there is an somewhat uniform sell 330 to 350 lots.

Not easy to break the wall at the sellers'.

settowin      ( Date: 21-Mar-2012 14:05) Posted:

Looking at the queue, seems that a concerted effort to bring down the counter is present.  The sellers are well guarded at the sell queues.

Maybe because that TopSage from CNA bought this - run out of  luck :)

No rush to buy stocks by Asians.  Everyone look at each other.  Then I ask what is happening to the market makers?  Selling down they scared Dow will sooner shoot up, buying up they scared that wow what willhappen when the world is facing a castastrophic disaster predicted to happen in Dec 21, 2012?

Think too much for what, hahahaaha?. Buy up or sell down, men, don't waste my time and your time.  Hehehehe.

What is the target price?

ya. i know it's better for it to slowly move up than suddenly explode upwards then come tumbling down. must try harder to not let emotions affect me! haha. thanks gufeng =)

gufeng      ( Date: 21-Mar-2012 12:36) Posted:

Look at it this way...any 0.001 move upwards is 10% gain. Short term trader will take the opportunity to gain profit. Also with the huge number of shares floating in the market, it will take time to move it up...so far from what I see, BB is slowly accumulating and moving it up slowly which is a good sign.

A forecast is a forecast and it will remain a forecast until the event occurs.  If it does not occur than it will become a wrong forecast. Hahaha.

Honestly stocks market shouldn't be played.  It should serve only as an investment like putting money in a business.  The only difference or two differences are that a private business you run yourself and accountable for your own money.  A listed company is run by other people you don't even know them personally.  Of course you cannot be sure if you are dealing with crooks or dealing with saints, that is the difference.

on the other hand, a move is a move+-, a trend has many moves+-++-+-+++.....lol....

My forecast is YES, when the DOW Jones Index moves away and up  from the 13,500 points, you can see frantic buying of STI Stocks, since STI stocks are still not that " expensive" compared to pre 2008 downturn levels.  When this happens, STI will move towards 3100 and above.

When will all this happen?  I guess very soon and not a speedy process, but just upwards steadily... Huat for everyone in the market! Cheers.

can. the only question is will it reach 3100+ first   before going back down or not? lol  Smiley

Biosensors have not shown its true colours yet, hahaha.  Actually this counter is relatively low in price.  So I will agree with both your points. Cheers.

SmallPlayer      ( Date: 20-Mar-2012 17:27) Posted:

Based on my own amatuer charting, I'm looking (& hoping) at 2 possible scenarios.

1)  Pullback to 1.42 next week, before climbing back up and hitting new highs above 1.70 in 1st half of April.

2) No significant pullback,  climb to new highs above 1.70 next week.

Vested.

Not an inducement to buy.

Just my 2 cents worth :)

Oops, STI is  3000++ and not 1300++! Aiyah, joking only.  Our STI will go and test the highest possible level.  We are into a new age.  Year 2012 is not the same as the 20th century where sti stands at 800 pts.

Hello, wuay, my forecast still stands, STI 1300++++ and  DOW towards 15K.  Iso did say to save my posting on DOW 15K and STI above 1300 when both the indices are way below today's.

Still stands on going forward, metal prices are too cheap, especially silver.  Gold has upper limits but silver can go beyond the historical price.  Examine a silver dollar now, is it  worth more than its weight in silver, think? Hehehe.

DOW  13,170.19  -68.94  -0.52%.....still dancing above 13000.....

" The news out of China caused everyone to look up and take a breath, but the sentiment hasn't changed. It's still bullish," said Mike Shea, managing partner and trader at Direct Access Partners in New York.

DOW  13,165.46  -73.67   -0.56% ....woohoo....fine tuning DOW engine for turbo-charge power for future rally?

" It seems like a market that probably just needs to take a rest, but I wouldn't be surprised -- this is kind of the pattern -- either flat or negative futures, and we rally into the day. It's sort of remarkable," said Jack Ablin, chief investment officer at  Harris Private Bank  in Chicago.

" It is now a focus back on the fundamentals on the economy and those news items aren't quite as daunting, it's really just fine tuning."

The current " low" price of gold would surely attract buyers and push it above U$1800 level pretty soon.  Good to long.

American stocks are kept in the custodian accounts of the patron's account of the brokerage company you trade with.  Here for patron, I mean the US broker firm that your local brokers are linked with. Your brokers pass the orders to the US firm on your behalf. All dividends will also come through your local brokerage.

Frankly if your transaction is of low value, there is no need to go to open your own American trading account because commission by your local brokers will be   the minimum charge of only US$20 + other fees applies for trade less than US$10K transaction, works to about US$30 or $40 per transaction.  But if each of your transaction is say US$30K or 40K, then you should open US online account since the sg firm's one way fees will work out to be US$100 or so dollars, meaning to and fro US$200 or 20 cents gain in stock price which is sometimes not easy.  But if traded with US firms, you pay regardless of value btw US$5 to $12 per order depending on who is your US brokers. Hope all the inf suffice. .

This law,  Protection of Personal Data or whatever the name, when embedded in the constitution will protect everyone from misuse of our personal data without our consent.  I believe banks and credit companies will think twice of circulating names of people whom they " think fit" and " deemed" not credit worthy. An infringement of the law makes it criminal for the offender.

So I think most of us will also be protected.  Brokers,   CDP or anyone with inside information  could not be in a position to  tell the " syndicates,if any,  or unscrupulous people, if any" what shares and outstanding positions you are having thus preventing an attack of your portfolio.  If they do, even without your  knowledge, it is against the law.  The banks could not provide any inquirer about your financial status if you do not consent to it. So I am ok with this law.

For Oceanus to go back to 10 cents, it will just need a good report from the company regarding the progress of the business allowing the shareholders to guage the " wisdom" of putting in money to buy the share.

settowin      ( Date: 20-Mar-2012 16:10) Posted:

Bought side is more than the sold side. The buy queue for 7.7 cents is more than selling 7.8 cents.

I still think Oceanus will move up to 10 cents very soon.

Not against any shortists, they can short and I can buy a little at a time since my quota has not been reached, so.. the cheaper the merrier.  Huat arh...

In stock market, one can win and one can lose, although in any counter you play, there is no guarantee.

This one I bet on its business, its products and its human resources (knowledge of special business - breeding sea creatures).  My investment on this is only  5 percent of portfolio.
