If SGD is that strong, we will be in deep trouble. We will be pricing ourselves out of competition. No FDI or few would want to buy our goods cos we are too expensive. Lose jobs, GDP down, property market down, stock market will be down cos of poor companies' performance, etc. Result? Softening SGD to stimulate the economy again. So, I laugh when people think SGD will strengthen so much against the USD.

That is consequence of playing or investing liquid S-chip stock previously! Only illiquid S-chips are depressed value stock and no hangky-panky counter, where else, liquid S-chips are speculative and much hidden fraudulence!
