Look at CITINEON, same problem, even it is a very very potential future multifold capital gain counter! Remember "SMALL IS BEAUTIFUL"

It is the most investors common practice in SGX market all look down to small cap and penny stocks and always chasing large cap and blue chips. It is a common mistake, but I cannot help it!

I prefer donate my money directly to the needed! To fulfil the recent strong voice of Singapore government i.e. optimizing the spending money "productivity". Ha. ha.. ha...

matrixneo      ( Date: 23-Mar-2010 13:01) Posted:

huh?? how this become a religious thread?

anyway to answer you...getting more money is supposed to help the needy and  spread God's words by going to other countries to preach ...as for the 10%, it really depends on individual, some practice 10% of income, some practice 10% in kind (e.g. effort) so to me, there should not be hard and fuss rule to say that if you want to come to my church, you die die must pay 10% of your salary per month.

after getting all the weekly or monthly donations, it is up to the church how they want to use the money.  Should they want to use the money of themselves, its up to them as they will face the His wrath themselves.  As believers, we give based on the trusts given to them that they will do good with the money.

babyboymi      ( Date: 23-Mar-2010 12:22) Posted:

That is common, I call it IPO in the secondary capital market, instead of primary capital market!

hotokee      ( Date: 23-Mar-2010 15:09) Posted:

In addition to those not feasible (finally got suspended) there are also those that are overpriced at IPO with seemingly market matching PEs.  I observed that these counters are subsequently sold down the moment they are listed.  A recent example is Cogent, which was offered at 25 cents which on listing was traded below it and currently at 15/16 cents.  The unwary investor lost abt 10 cents straightaway.  This is what is happening very frequently.

niuyear      ( Date: 23-Mar-2010 14:36) Posted:

20%  S-chips listed here, 9 or more still cant pay debts, some are already suspended / delisted.

Its understandable why SGX  has  to set up 'Post-listing Monintoring Unit'  for S-chips.  Some family-owned companies are not able to draw line between Shareholdings and Management. Post-listing Education has been enforced thougg, but   the S-chips companies are still 'tumbling' their ways to become a globalised listed company. During their learning process,  along the way, there are  bound to have failures and casualties.

So, as a shareholder of these companies, if you believe the companies have potential, you may have your hands in it, if not, if you are the UNLUCKY ones, you will be part of the Casualties.

All capital market consists of three main pillar parts: Listed company (playing tool), Stock Exchange house (playing field) and Investor (player). Please study broadly on all three of this aspect for accountability of healthy share trading and investing development. We just can't simply purely blame Listed company (i.e. S-chip) to hold all the responsibility as the main culprit, can we?
