Infact, I always learn and remember back to BASIC of investment........ "Buy in low, Sell out high" so I just modify it to "Buy in several drops, Sell out several enough points up".

Wow, Hulumas has been buying with every drop in the market.  Long term or dollar average?  You have to have big capital to do this.

Yes. I have accumulated some over a period of time; will buy more when price dips. I bought this counter for 2 main reasons:

1. Organic growth in niche mkt : FY 09's EPS=3.44 cts which was 2.34 times over FY 08's 1.47 cts. Assuming 50% growth this year, EPS = 5.16 cts. At 17.5 cts last traded on 25/6/10, potential PE= 3.39; and

2. Cash & cash equi =$14.998m (about 9.12 cts ps based on 164.531172ms) & NAV ps =16.62 cts at end of FY 09.

That is why I keep buying!

iPunter      ( Date: 02-Jul-2010 14:21) Posted:

Hangs Seng & Shanghai are both severely 'pengsan' ...

      So how bullish can we be?

           By the way, I do not pay any attention to the index when trading...

                And furthermore, there's no question of cutting loss yet, with a small wimpy false rally ...

                     hehehe... Smiley

No, I do not think so, for more and more US and EU various value added products global market share could be eaten up or eventually replaced by China and Asia region countries!

In more common sense: We should say Western utilize their existing WEALTH, while Eastern accumulate their potential WEALTH!

alooloo      ( Date: 02-Jul-2010 09:39) Posted:

Probably both are correct?

Assume the following scenario (only assumption)

 =============

stock link to macro economy, but then... if most compony in SG, are still making good profit, while, most company in US, making less money... so... it is more like a re-distribution of wealth, from West to East... through Singapore....

No China, due to China gov actively want to make their product cheap... so, they don't want to make RMB up... so... rich people in china, invest other place as well... to avoid inflation cost....

 ==============

KuaiLAN      ( Date: 02-Jul-2010 09:31) Posted:

people forget US market was still RED at the close.  Everyone is waiting for the death cross, so someone is betting heavily on the Singapore market because of the low volume.  Market is always right, it will go where it suppose to go.  There being no other interpretation.

sometimes the STI leads the US market, sometimes lagging but they are synchronised.  US market is always broke below the February's low, so it is not clear which market is correct??

You are right in some sense........ I mean Dynamic practical investment orientated BRAIN.

iPunter      ( Date: 02-Jul-2010 09:27) Posted:

People who use their brains to trade or invest usually end up going "pok!"...

    It is not the brain, but the character that determines profit or loss...

         For example, having a purely intellectual approach

               coupled with a staunchly contentious mindset

                      will guarantee big losses in time... Smiley
