Good comment just make use of it!

If we look at the previous 20 years' history of stocks, normally in bull run, the big caps will cheong first. Why? Because the Big Boys will buy up the big caps to boost their holdings.  They only need to buy small amount of stocks and the value of their portfolio will increase significantly.  Big Boys will normally buy the mid-cap and small cap stocks thereafter.  If we look at the trend carefully, the big caps will go up first.  Thereafter, it will stabilise and the mid-cap will go up followed by the small cap.  This is the trend.  If we want to make big gains on mid to small cap stocks, we must have the patience.  And when mid and small caps go up, the chances are their % gain will be higher than the % gain of the big caps.

Also, the STI tend to follow DOW Jones closely co-related in the past 25 years or so.  So, if DOW Jones hit their peak and continue with the bull run, so will STI.  Just need to be patience.  Look for the uptrend, which appears to be the case now.  Big Boys are coming back after sleeping during the World Cup.  Good luck to all investors out there.

TRAUMA of S-chips are still going on and on. . . . . . . . Don't you know, you loss huge opportunity costs because of that!

Another upside to directly investing into China stock exchanges is the impending/gradual appreciation of the Renminbi in time to come.

However, given the prolific nature of companies going bust due to unethical practices, best to invest in blue chips.

I personally dun feel comfortable to buy now.... STI near resistance at 2900 already, any upside may be limited but downside and neutral can be huge.

Market does not care to take a note, how potential and prospective its industry development right now and so on! Traders and Investors minds all stop at historical of its price movement, however, every things should change and last performance seldom repeated by itself nowadays!

alexchia01      ( Date: 08-Jul-2010 13:47) Posted:

This is a good company.

Technically and Fundamentally are good.

Unfortunately, it's in a rather boring industry. Manufacturing vanes for power generator in China.

Difficult to seem a sudden surge in its share price.

But, I think its good for long-term keep.

Now then you know, why most of the China related stocks depressed becoming pennies and so many DUAL listing as their good way to revalue their NAV in other stock market!

knightrider      ( Date: 08-Jul-2010 12:17) Posted:

Not even have any ads on paper, anyone knew what is the IPO price ? Just want to list then list, suka suka, nowadays, don't know what the MAS doing, everything suka suka one ! Last time IPO must open for application, then later become very less volume open to public to apply, majority all reserved by placement taken. Now lagi fantastic, want to list just list lor, no need to open for public to apply. Watch out and be careful.

BTW, anyone know the ipo price, or not even at all, when you check, Company-all-in-one info in SGX website for this burger, no info at all ! For all history records of long grand father history, we can excuse, may be donkey years ago, thus do not reflect the info, but newly IPO also don't have, real lousy !
