EG: if anyone hold say 1,400 right share (1,000 will be sold in 15BR & 400 shr sold in 15CR)

The mother share sold down too due mainly to it weakness in regional bourses, another reason read vostro post.

For more info by Oct 12, by this date (thing to noted: all nil-paid rights share is worthless after Oct 12).

Those holding nil-paid rights have to pay up ($0.80 per 1,000 share) to subscribe for. If you do not wish to subscribe, make sure you sell away your nil-paid rights between 28 Sep and 6 Oct, do yourself a favour and pay up. For whatever reason. Either U pay up or sell your right share, for it will become worthless after 12 Oct! (Monday).  You may make payment either via post (ATM your CDP account if it linked, If not, take note down your CDP account number for keying in manually just in case or using bank drafts or cashier's order, no cheques accepted)

This is also the date by which excess rights shares applications must be submitted. If you are holding odd lots, my advice is to apply and pay up a day earlier - just in case. Priority is always given to holders with odd lots in the excess allocation process. Note: only shareholders of the original mother shares are eligible for excess rights application. Buying nil-paid rights from the open market does not afford you the same privilege.

For shareholders who bought under the CPF Investment Scheme, you are also entitled to subscribe for the rights issue and apply for excess rights shares using your CPF money. You may do this by instructing the bank which is overseeing your CPF investment account to accept the rights issue and/or apply for excess rights shares.

Good Midas did announce contract before Q3 contract. Its a mid-size contract and we need more contracts :)

These few days you will see midas surge but my suggestion is do not keep it over this weekend.

Yes Oct is indeed critical. Hopefully Chinese Central government will not favour other 3 Makers. Also everyone must remember no one can guarantee they can win the contract (nothing is 100%) however midas has great potential. So far the odds of winning new contracts is still over 95%. I know some big shot kid while i am in australia, so i know how the chinese government contract works :)

25% of getting a blackjack :) (Major Contracts)

35% of getting a 20 :) ( Mid-size Contracts)

30% of getting a 17 :) (Small-size Contracts)

5% of getting no new contracts

So the odds are quite ok la.

Although Midas did not close above 90 cents on Friday , it did not derail the upward trend . By checking its monthly chart , the Aroon Up is at 100 , n the Aroon Down is at 21 , this indicates that the uptrend has  just started   from here . The same thing happened in 2006 , during the last bull run , the Aroon Up went up to 100 at Dec2005 n lasted for almost 3 years then went down to cross the Aroon Down in Mar2008, then the uptrend came to an end . Therefore , Midas long term uptrend may start from this month . ( Last bull run , Midas started from 36 cents n went all the way to $2.20 according to Aroon Up n Down .)

It could be intentional push-down to accumulate more at lower price by those whom had been anticipating or probably those with "insider info" on all thses huge contracts.
