Aim not Dream . . . . . . . . Why not?
178investors ( Date: 14-Jul-2010 16:56) Posted:
Is it possible? Likely? going by how things are doing great here and encouraging policies to make it all happen.
Singapore Dream - $1million for resales 3-rm-hdb. STI breaches 5000. Per capita income US$250,000. What more? (of course, daily living costs will go up too.)
Possible to attain soon. The feelings on the ground seems to say yes too. Life is great! you can feel it! |

That is why, from now on, I keep buying small capitalization S chips. Dr. Fu . . . . . . . . let us ride on the huge profit together by next year investing purely in S chips!

Investors Run Into Trouble With Chinese Deals
http://blogs.wsj.com/deals/2010/07/12/investors-run-into-trouble-with-chinese-deals/
Good luck Dr Fu!
pharoah88 ( Date: 14-Jul-2010 09:37) Posted:
DR FU YONG is a Chinese fund manager often referred to as the 'S-chip sage' for his history of favouring Singapore-listed Chinese firms.
When he won the 2007 Fund Manager of the Year award in his category, he had a high water mark of seven S-chips among his fund's top 10 holdings in the second half of that year.
Dr Fu has now taken on a new position with a Shanghai-based 8.6 bln yuan fund of Changxin Asset Management following his stepping down from Beijing-based Orient Fund in February.
While recent analysis and media reports are not deluding themselves into believing that Dr. Fu will immediately jump full bore back into S-chips as a fund manager with Changxin, the fact that the 'S-chip sage' is back in the game at this point in time does present a ray of hope for Chinese firms selling shares in Singapore.
During his tenure with Orient, Dr. Fu became known for chasing high-risk, high-return opportunities, and having a very high rate of bagging his quarry.
Mixed funds under his control saw a nearly 169% average return during an 18-month period three years ago, making him the second most profitable fund manager in this category over the timeframe.
Dr Fu and Orient acquired a reputation at the time for being a cheerleader for Chinese firms listed on the Singapore stock exchange |

Even at SGD 1.20, ARA still gives a yield of 4%, since the CEO has mentioned in the annual report that they will be able to maintain the same dividend as last year (ie 4.8 cts), notwithstanding the increase in number of share arising from the bonus issue.
There has been a large transactions recently, in millions of share at SGD 1.07. Something brewing...... |

Time to buy again for me this counter.

Noting Keppel Land strong results, it will be disappointing if Allgreen does not also report a set of strong results especially when management expects 2H2009 should be positive. I would be surprised if the share price does not move much higher than 1.20 to settle at a new base of 1.3x. Just my view.
