Please pardon my ignorance and being a pessimist mule, if we are all expecting the steel industry and electricity industry to cheong hard hard in the next few month, then I can see why coal is useful to keep, I cannot forsee this at the moment, oil price and energy prices are going to fall thru 2010 as demand is not increasing, may even reverse knowing the state of the US economy, it may take up to 2012 to bottom before a revival, we need to be realistic about the magnitude of the recession, we can make short term money i,e, shorting but I cant see myself believing this stock worth $3.00 as some have forecasted. Liquidity in short term 6-8 months will make folks feel rich, chase up share prices, suddenly everyone is richer, after a while the steel demand is not there, the coal will be used to build black mountains. How come Nobel didn't cheong like Straits Asia, how come Abterra also didnt cheong like SAR? BB playing this haha...you are the BB...we are the BB...

Cheong Wee, good warning note, people lost their job or business no good go play stock and make someone else's money by chasing the stock higher, shift the liquidity instead of creating real wealth in absolute terms. Many sold at $1, thinking I have already made 50cents, the next guy buy at $1 and sell at $1.50, after seeing they guy who bought from him also make 50 cents from $1.50, he buy back at $2.00 hoping to sell it at $2.50 The cycle repeats and the stock reached $x, suddenly someone asking what is the potential earning power for the next quarter? Errrr.... PE 16, coal price not really rising, productivity small increase, share price cheong until no tomorrow, what do you think will happen next! The 50 cents he made will become $x-0.50 loss. !! This is what may happen soon. PE need to be 20 before people stop chasing? Crazy...Same for the property, queuing overnight, blank cheque and keep borrowing thinking he can pay off the mortgage or sell to the next sucker..

I have said that i will not post, but i am not credible, didn't i told you.

But one credible thing from me is......this is a bear rally, this is credible, I suggest dont stay beyond mid August, get out latest by end August.

If the rally is for real, we can alway jump back in, but if it crash, we may have no time to run, emotion and sentiment with this rally may hold us back, thus ended up got stuck again.

t6kae care and bye forever really.

remember i told you observe initial job claim for six week of improvement to know the end of recession....this is why i post again to break my promise....because i want to let you know....very important!!!!

i dont want you to be too carry away with this sucker rally., and really end up stuck..

take care and good luck bye...i will not post anymore , so anti cheongwee can say what they want...no problem with me,,,go ahead.

we see whether dow will be 3800 by mid 2010!!!!...sti 1000 to 1200

Is Jim Rogers invsting in water companies like EPure and Hyflux? He was very bullish about Chinese Water Treatment Industry yesterday on Bloomberg TV. Also very bullish on Chinese agriculture as there are a lot of subsidies for Chinese farmers. I say .....doydd

Yes and no, depends on your invstment strategy, if you like shorting then this is not for you, if you want to park and come back to peek from time to time, this may be a better one than others. I listened to the announcement last night and fell asleep, what I gathered is that they got the 2 million profit without extra-ordinary income like Turomo last Q, and the most important thing is sales, it increased ! Sales team beefed up. Positive cash although need to have more working capital, so Bengster could be right with the options  to get more cash for operation use and the magnitude seems reasonable, so in short, I will long it....come back and peek every quarter...anyway those who have a day job cannot short so much, so this is probably is a good candidate to consider.

Winning contract does not mean making money, be certain they are really in control otherwise there are many very large EPC company e.g Davy McKee disappeared because of one failed project...! No vested interest and no inducement to buy or sell. DYOHW. Understand the risk of EPC company first...

Not sure you know this, if one of the multinational active pharma ingredients company in Tuas shuts down for a week, it will drag the country's GDP,  if one take it to full capacity it will show increase of the GDP quite noticably, this is how sensitive (small) Singapore economy is to the pharma industry and guess how much is one kilo of these active ingredients? Definately cost more than gold! So the last GDP figure not really becoz of Biosensors, they are really insignificant compare with the drug substance manufacturers in Tuas. Chinese say "little wu" meet "big wu". However we know Biosensors sales was strengthen and on the up trend, hopefully they deliver better results in Sales which is important. Cost is dependent on the development and regulatory projects they are running and other corporate stuff. If sales revenue goes up then it is time to cheong !

If you look at the prices now isn't time to take profit? The shorties are shorting penny shares, signs telling us to get out and come back after all the news  become "olds" when all the good news in the results are out and analysts says the good news have already been priced in, apocolyspe starts...It will co-incide with eclispe, profit taken too much become sell down, nobody want to stop selling then it will be double dip as the pessimist forecasted some time ago, then eclispe curse come true...   Smiley 389Smiley 551

Ya, good management (in their own perspective) they are squeezing cost but into the directors' own pocket...better give us profit in the coming result announcement, else we all will dump it together even at a loss...as a sign of protest from loyal supporter (no more..).

Just 1 week ago, I think we all remember reading a report very negative about the future of Palm Oil, Skully said in his blog also, how come suddenly the sentiment (reflected by the share prices of palm oil cheong for over 20%) changed? Goldman Sach changed the report? Is the future of Palm Oil really going to be bad? Are we over induldge ourselves of feel good buying or was the report rubbish worthless piece of propaganda so BB can buy at low? Comment and debate please.

Time is here again, 1.68 compare with 1.8 bought by the ex-CEO. What is the general view on this stock? TA to share? Been collecting from low 1.5x last week, waiting for it to go to 2.x. and oil price to rocket. After the US banks bullish results come out it may hit 2.x?? Your view please.

Palm futures up 44-50 points at 2049, El Nino will come and output drop, Palm price will rocket as low yield eventhough plantation want to increase output. So the net effect will be zero compare to those who forecast bleak palm prices. Theoretically palm prices should go back to last 8 weeks prices. But the doomsayer palm oil forecaster didnt include the El Nino effect I guess.
