I bought heavily while it is illiquid day by day queueing at Sgd. 0.05 and 0.055. Today I still keep buying and that showed the big reward that I buy the neglected, illiquid, undervalue yet recovery stocks, remember not to trade but keep buying for investing and hold for some time to let it ripe and later just riding the enough profit and let go! Investing not trading. Informatic just one of my good example to illustrate today!

Anyone going to load up on Informatics Education tomorrow morning for the CNY rally? Parent share or warrant 2009 or warrant 2011 better to load up leh? With so many choices, not all will run away at the same time, I intend to load up all three cheap. Informatics shares at 5.5cents, warrant 2009 at 1 cents and warrant 2011 at 2.5 cents.

The way UNIFOOD price movement is one of the good example SGX belongs to >95% traded orientated capital market! It is unhealthy market mechanism! It needs further improvement from SGX's trading mechanism regulation, I presume!

There are enough private property segments for SEPCULATIONS.  Aren't  they ? ? ? ?

Is there a NEED for HDB segment to be OPEN  to SPECULATIONS  by the RiCH  ? ? ? ?

HDB  is  supposed  to HELP  the  POOR ? ? ? ?

WHY is the POOR  not protected from the EXPLOITATION of the RICH in the HDB segment ? ? ? ?

I thought there are income ceiling to be first or 2nd timer.... so how about those people?.. Smiley

Laulan      ( Date: 26-Jul-2010 09:29) Posted:

“If you’re a first-time buyer, there’s more than enough flats for you. But if you’re a second-timer, you have to compete in the market with the first-timers and others, and this equilibrium in the prices will be reached at a point in time in the medium term as we push out this supply,” said Mr Mah.

Please think and rethink which flat you want to buy. For first timer, it is not necessary to choose where you want to live, which neighbourhood you love to be in, how near is it to your work place, etc. But for second-timer, it is very very important since this is the last chance you could get a flat direct from the HDB which the govt promised to be reasonably priced. (Layman thinking). After second flat, I got into trouble by staying at a place that eventually I dislike, but no choice have to continue staying there. I could buy a flat from the open-market, but it is a hassle because HDB wou't l;end money and banks will refuse to do so, and the potential sale of my second-time home may not cover the new HDB flat I might get from the sellers. Hey this is serious, and you should know the system of flat allocation well. I mean if you are a second timer, you have one last chance to buy from HDB and after that you are allowed only to buy resale flat and use private banking. So your choice is important.

North Korea threatens 'sacred' nuclear war

The Korean peninsula is on high alert today, with Pyongyang threatening a nuclear response to massive war games being held by the United States and South Korea.

Hundreds of war planes, dozens of ships and thousands of military personnel are taking part in the four-day drill designed as a show of force to North Korea after the sinking of a South Korean corvette four months ago.

Washington's star strike fighter - the F-22 Raptor - is the most advanced killing machine taking part in the joint US-South Korea war games.

In total, 200 fighter jets, 20 warships and 8,000 military personnel will be taking part in the drill in the Sea of Japan. All the military hardware has one purpose - to send a shudder all the way to Pyongyang.

The fleet includes the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS George Washington, which is 333 metres long and can accommodate more than 6,000 crew members and 80 warplanes.

"We will be showing off the strongest capabilities in the largest exercise in recent history," South Korean navy general Kim Kyung-sik said.

"The purpose of this drill is to confirm the strong will of the US-South Korea alliance and to send a clear message of warning to North Korea about its provocative acts."

Pyongyang has denounced the exercise as a reckless provocation, warning it is prepared to launch what it calls a "retaliatory sacred war" in response.

Kim Jong-Il's regime says it will not hesitate to unleash its nuclear deterrent.

When you trade the common outcomes become losers, on the contrary, when you invest the common outcomes become winners, both in the long run!

Any advice on the right issue?

tanstg      ( Date: 24-Jul-2010 17:20) Posted:

Renounceable Non-Underwritten Rights Issue of up to 780,739,576 new ordinary shares (the “rights shares”) in the capital of the company , at an issue price of $S0.01 for each rights share, with up to 117,110,936 Free detachable warrants (The “warrants”), each warrant carrying the right to subscribe for one (1) new ordinary share in the capital of the company (The “New Share”) at an exercise price of S$0.015 for each new share, on the basis of twenty (20) rights share with three (3) free detachment warrants for every ten (10) existing ordinary shares (the “shares”) held by entitled shareholders of the company as at books closure date, fractional entitlements to be disregarded.

Can some kind soul and warrant/right guru help to decode the above formulas?

Questions:

1.       Is it worth the exercise on the right or warrant? Or is it better to better to buy off the open market to average down?

2.       What do “free detachment warrants” means?

3.       Do we pay 1cts or 1.5cts for the exercise to purchase the ordinary share?

Thanks in advance.
