SINGAPORE: Ziwo's executive founder and Executive Chairman Ting Chun Yuen has raised his stake in the company to 51.37 per cent.

He bought an additional 500,000 shares at 32 Singapore cents each on Monday from the open market.

In a statement, Ziwo said the additional stake represents 0.17 per cent of the company's issued share capital.

Mr Ting's deemed stake was about 51.2 per cent before the latest acquisition.

In a statement, Mr Ting said his purchase was spurred by the company's sound business model, healthy financials and clear growth plans.

Last week, Ziwo posted a profit of 19.5 million renminbi (S$3.91 million) on revenues of 91 million renminbi (S$18.3 million). - CNA/vm

nah he will never use his own money to buy another company. he will use money from the company....like that not good news wor he sell.

machineoperator      ( Date: 07-May-2010 17:49) Posted:

You are right that Mr Lim sold almost all his stake in Gen Sp but he is still the CEO of Gen Sp. U must not forget also that all CEOs in listed companies do the same thing.... is to look after the interest of the investors and directors... lay mans term... the company profitability and revenue which is directly related to the company share price. In turns, the CEO gets big chucks of the stock options..... haa haa.... I want to be CEO too I am smart enuff.... too bad I am not...... !!!

AnthonyTan      ( Date: 07-May-2010 13:21) Posted:

Your 3rd paragraph, if I can remember correctly,

Ah Lim has oreli sold a substantial amount of his shares.

His assurance to investors are no more credible.

If it is good, why sell??????

haha buying a company is like betting on its future what!!Of course a certain level of punting is involve. Ipunter is of course right. thats why those who have guts willmake money. cause dare to buy or short den those who play safe(like me only play with what i have so no prob at all) . dare dare play margin....not for chicken hearted like mine haha. i buy stock to keep. so i very believe in the companies i buy. hopefully one or two of them will become blue chip in few years time hahahaha den auntie just play mj n eat high tea haha. got extra money den buy somemore later haha if dunn have play more mj n make more money hahaha. hands itchy

iPunter      ( Date: 07-May-2010 00:08) Posted:

I have since the beginning maintained that all investors are punters...

Whether they admit it or not,

or insist to prefer to label themselves as investors,

they are dealing with the stock market beast, regardless of how 'blue' their stocks are...

And to me, dealing with a monster beast IS punting... Smiley

It is true that sound fundamental will eventually trigger the public's interest, but sometime this can take a long time.

If the public takes 10 years to get interested in the stock, are you going to hold the stock for 10 years?

I rather be there when the public beginning to notices the stock rather than holding it for 10 years waiting for someone to notice it.

im still bullish in e long run. remember what goes up must come down n what goes down most will go up hahaha. as i say the chinese populations r getting richer n once they r richer they want stuff. e 5 cs r hitting china hard. unstoppable. n the gov tighten it now to not let it get outta control thats why i jumped in during the previous corrections. before e correction when ying li was at 0.88 i didn't dare buy as the chances of bursting is so high. now at least the risk is down ALOOOOT. Its not just blind faith. Its the chinese way of thinking. my neighbour have i must have also that will push the property market.

:) the government should be lifting their ridiculous policy soon. their growth is verymuch depended on their property. but yeah its bearish for the market now though who can afford to wait it out i suggest be like me dun bother what the shorters r trying to do :) egg u into selling at a low price so they can earn more money. Dun get me wrong i am cool with shorting but just dun like the those that egg others on

if in doubt look at the transcation done. alot of BB are buying up this counter. wait till dust settle n den buy some more
