I enterd few days ago 3.17, thereafter , saw DBS vickers report that this is fully valued 3.11. (with 12 mths price target 2.71 ) ?

I heard this church is super rich......

My friend is a church mamber telling me they have to contribute MONTHly to the church 10 or 20% of their monthly salary?? Anyone here is the churche menber and doing the same thing monthly? This is as much as contributing to CPF account.

City Harvest Church acquired Suntec Convention Centre after it made Cross-Sell Agreement with RWS.

Suntec REIT: Suntec Conventiondoes deals with church, IR

Summary: Suntec Convention Centre(SCC) has announced in recent weeks agreements with both City Harvest Church (CHC) and Resorts World Sentosa (RWS). Suntec REIT has a 20% interest in ARA Harmony Fund, which owns SCC. SCC and RWS signed an exclusive agreement in early March to cross-sell each other to “create real business opportunities for both venues”. Meanwhile, CHC has bought a stake in ARA Harmony Fund. CHC is spending S$310m in total on the acquisition, rental costs, and renovation costs and so on. The new relationship with CHC, in our view, brings SCC several steps closer to its goal of adding more stability to its revenue mix. Suntec’s manager has re-iterated that the REIT could potentially acquire all of SCC in “two or three years” time. We do note that CHC may be keen to maintain its ownership stake, however: it has cited its preference for a “more financially sustainable ownership model in the long term”. We maintain our BUY rating and S$1.44 fair value on Suntec. (Meenal Kumar)

after few yrs listing in singpore and profited from it and then delist or let it rot and got it suspended then set up another new company in china.....真利害！

My general analysis of s-chips from gaining IPO to being delisted -

Why a compnay want to boost their earning?

1) in order to gain authorisation for an IPO,

2) to issue new shares or;

3) to avoid being delisted.

Along the line,a company's share price can be propped up as the share price is the key basis for managerial compensatoin,. The higher the share price, the more they get the $$.

We can see that there were sudden big surge of some s-chips companies share price , thereafter, price dipped dramatically and then, company being delisted or suspended.

Huh? are you sure? I am not 4-D fans but, just buy when i see numbers on street or number just appear in front of my eyes.

I strike on Sat - 1185 and 1155 (system entry) , How Lucky!

Buying 4-D is quite hard to get rich, i buy more on Toto. Dream of becomng 1.5 million richer hahaha!!!

Companies like S-chips listed in singapore, will not attract the attention of US or European fund managers.

European and US funds looking opportunity in Asian companies with the request of CSR (corporate social responsible) and ESG (Environment, social, governonce) record. These are factors they consider the sustainability and succesful of an enterprise.

Singapore government is strong believer of this and given its support fully.

1997, financial crisis, why george solo didint attack s'pore currency? Tks to a very strict regulations in SGX as short selling was never permited until recent years.

Our dollars are strongly backed by the gold reserves and not backed by 'natural resources' like some countries, they relied heaveily on their own so call 'natural resources'. We only believe in one super-valuable natural resource i.e. GOLD!!! :))

We are pegged to one basked of currencies and not solely on US$. If US$ got into trouble, we have other currencies to pegged onto. All these come from good brains back home, but, in order to keep up with more challenges ahead , we want our good brains that are now floating in other countries, to come back to serve its country, especially those in Medical fields. Its wise for them to return home for, What Wishbone has said in his message those 5 imprtant points, dont one think it is time to return?

But those holding prestigeous scholarhsip but was a bond breaker, i dont think anyone want to welcome them home . Once a bond breaker, is forever a bond breaker !

MNCs and foreign companies invested in Singapore have to consider these in comparison to investing in other countries. We may not have the best of everything, especially cost (Operating here is not cheap), but other factors are as critical.

1. Currency stability
2. Stable Government (No flip-floping of policies)
3. Good infrastructures to support their business
4. Business/Working Language
5. Security

Ppl come here is for education. Once they graduated, they will be lured to other countries where there are more opportunities. Countries rich in resources too bad did not have a good govt body manage the wealth. Today companies that expand their business aboard can continue to keep themselves afloat. There are many good companies here..esp related to infrastructure and gas/oil and water business. Countries rich in resources need low currency value so that ppl can buy their commodities and also boost their exports...All our produces are from where??

Singapore currency is stable or balanced as we are neither import nor export oriented. We are not a manfacturing hub. If too high do u think ppl will come here, if too low we have work extra hard.

OBama praised singapore on its health care system and cite it as role model. Health care services undenying promising, but, I do see some people flocking to malaysia for body check up etc.......and it is much cheaper than singapore. Those under Parkway holdings, are PRIVATE and charges are not cheap.........I am typical singaporeans and i will use my tan tock seng or alexandra.......hehehe, affordable for the NURSES in government hospitals, same as those in private hospitals.......all speak takalog, china nationality, ............err.. anymore?

Sometimes, this is done by computers. Ever seen a lot of counters flip at the same time? Of course competitors can also respond but they have to do it strategically (timing is important). This works very well when volume is not big. Currently you can see Jardine C&C is a target for the bull to push up the index. For what? of course to influence people to buy

A country that is RICH in natural resources, doenst mean it is ok and some, still remains POOR COUNTRY! Most natural resources are in the hand of their government, and iF that government is inefficient, corrupted , so as the country. Imagine, how crude oil pumped from ground and its just a black goo. Without human's intelligence to turn that useless thing into fuel for machines and etc, that will be a just black goo lying under ground. Now is bing 'manupulated' in human's hand until it is a super valuable resources to own .

S'pore natural resources - human ! The basic to success is emphasis on education and our present success in many fields such as Healthcare (Obama has praised singapore in its healthcare and site it as a model to follow.) , transportation,,,,,,,,and so on and so forth , are contributing factors by humans' brains.

Why our currency is so stronger than those countries with natural resources? You go imagine. Our government will keep only one super-value 'natural resource' ..........you guess what is it? LOL

Do you know Casino is our last card on the deck to get spore economy to move forward. If casino cant move we are doom coz we don;t have natural resources. China are luring back their talents and is happening. Our economy is hard to sustain and PAP is pressure to come up with something. Now they talk about productivity to cut down foreigners influx. The number of foreigner talents or workers coming to Spore is gradually reducing coz there's no market for them. They flocking to China and emerging asia. Govt said to cut down foreigners sounds nice to all but in fact we have nothing to attract them coming anymore.

Universal studio has to fine tune the operation according to Asian style in order to attract asian tourists.

Sands also has to be extra careful on its bets on the slot machines to that of its competator's level i.e. genting sentosa.

Singapore is providing a 'Land' to the outsider operators to operate their businesses, if outsider fail to make profit and withdraw, we can turn universal studio into Hello Kitty land, or , Barbie dolls or whatever so long as not those as super big scale as disney land.

Sentosa has still rooms for more such mideum scale operators to come forward, we can release it bit by bit, over the years, to remain our attractivenss to the booming tourism industry.

Any business will come to a saturating point. US casinos have lost some 20% of profit over the years, partly due to 'on-line' casino and betting.

Las vagas slot machine can be as high as US$10.00 and how many ppl cld afford that?

We shall see if Sands at Marina Bay how they accord their bets on slot machine and if is comparable to Genting sentosa, if bet is too high, they might lose the crowd to Genting sentosa.

This CIMB analyst thinks our universal studio will going to attrach big crowds. Think he never been to Vegas and Macau. The night live is so lively and happening over there as compare to Spore with so many restrictions. I dare to bet with CIMB that the resort will be a flop. Starting will be loud to all but the crowd & excitement will very soon disappear. Spore is too juz too small and boring to attact tourists...they most come for a day then travel to regional country to relax..

When that happens this analyst will give a SELL advice..

Latest new that : Police has found out one of the prank callers is a famous TCS male actor from J Neo's company.

Kudos to this person who so brave to make such a call and J Neo is one super lucky man to have such a good buddy to back him up. :)

We are attracting Malaysians to come and just their chinese population is -

25% (chinese) of 27 million malaysian polution = 6.75 millions

Not to mentione the rests of the world......

May be a block of 3 hours? Is this enough for a 'leisure gamblers' or htose 'office workers'? Something has to work out so that these people will finish off the 3 hours and, WILL NOT return the same day, unless they want to.... I strongly feel this is necessary for, i saw many young office workers (female and males) holding one whole stack of money just play the slot machine especially the 'wheel of fortune'!! This is a scary scene, did they make as much as they can lose?? or did they compromise giving their house-hole expenses to their parents or family for gambling?

How about hourly charge (or per minute charge) up to a maximum of $100per day. So for those who to only "look see look see" then it can be very cheap. They can pay using the cashcard. Haha
