citigroup's executives can only afford budget airlines.  May be Tiger give them buy one get one free type of freebies and thats why they raise TP to $2.40.....hahaha!

Citigroup has raised Tiger Airways (J7X.SG) target price to $2.40 from $2.00,
based on 10x EV/EBITDA, after increasing FY11-12 earnings forecasts by
21%-25%, says Dow Jones.

“We expect passenger yields to surprise on the upside given strong ticket
demand and healthy forward bookings,” says Citigroup.

The brokerage research house of the investment bank has tipped short-term
opportunity for low-cost carriers in general to raise yields: “The higher ticket
prices charged by full-service carriers may widen the pricing gap between
low-cost carriers and full-service carriers, and coupled with strong forward
bookings, low-cost carriers may be able to charge higher ticket prices.”

Keeps “buy” call.

The analyst know that got big shot government investors mah, so raise target price.  

Citigroup share still stays at US$ 4 plus, very lousy perfomance. Am hoping they drop like nobody business ($1 or $2) then buy them.

I got confident we can.  So long as internet betting (casino) is not legalised, and so long as people gambling instint never dies off..   1 or 2 suicide case is isolated (though is related to betting in casino) and this will not deter casino business to move forward.

Casinos in singpaore is like 'too big to fail' for it is the main attraction  to be incorporated into the IR.  Look at singapore Expo, how many BIG corporation ever come here for exhibition in the past?  If casino here fail to make profits , thousand will lose their jobs.

Sands in US has retrenched quite a number of staff and it is said that they will probably be offered the job here and this is in turn, lessen our locals' job seekers' opportunity to work in MBS.

Buying this counter shares must be patient so we can get better bagain with lowest price as we can.  Seriously not sure when will all our money putting in can generate a good return in future... after 5 years, 10 years???

It wld be nice if only they offer to singaporeans discounted share price like those days when singtel offerd the share to people @2.00     :)

Have you been to casino lately?   I heard that a lot of people complained that during the recent holiday  , eve of good friday and good friday itself,  people q up more than 45 minutes to play at slot machine, and table games were packed like sardines.........why genting  open up more tables and machines on peak period.or during weekend?  or they want you to get frustrated so they can win your money?  LOL!  

One malaysian lady whom i know, used ot come here to do shopping, but, it seems, she goes to casino more often than before.    Shopping malls business affected by opening of casinos or not?

Heart operation in US could cost as much as US$ 100,000.00.    In singapore, cost around S$30,000 or so.    Singapore is quick enough to have switched is focus from traditional investments to non-traditional ie.  Medical hub, Education, Financial Hubs to R & D, then Casinos......will we be just stopping at casinos?

guessed its going to trade around the price range of 0.885-0.915 for sometime. maybe need the first report earnings for this counter to either crash or soar. anyhow my thoughts are since i bought liao i might as well just keep haha and go RWS i walk in casino i am the house so the little ghost wont eat me hahahahahaha. n will win money hahaha

iPunter shorted at 0.945 and even price goes up to 0.925, he sells yet still makes money.   If trend changes, he switches to long.........is that simple for him and of course, he has good amt of $$$ in order to do so and to trade few counters in this mannar.  Truly an experienced trader.  :)
