I would think LTA should look into covering up "stretch by stretch" on those ground level tracks to minimise the

noises of trains.

Nothing to be puzzled about. Fares are not their only income source. Their income from retail space has been increasing over the years. Also, with extra barricades being up at some stations, there is more advertising space for added vitamin M from HPB. See that cereals and brown rice heatlh ads? Smiley

I am optimistic in gaming industry . Also, it is in operation barely 3 mths old! Am always buying small lots innitially and will be buying bit by bit when price plunging down along the way to average out. A simple trading pattern with 10 - 30% profits rigeon. But, those who trade for livelihood everyday, has to have their hands and legs tied to the stocks' movements everyday in order to maximise their profits.

CHINA Property stocks catch one analyst’s eye, but another warns of ‘policy risk’

The SE Shang Property Index lost 1.9 per cent yesterday, extending Monday’s 6.8-per-cent fall and bringing this year’s decline to 18 per cent, the biggest among the five industry groups. The measure now trades at 23.4 times reported earnings, the lowest since March last year.

China told banks to stop loans for third-home purchases in cities with excessive property price gains, the State Council said on Saturday. The government also ordered banks to set aside more deposits as reserves and raise mortgage rates.

“I think policy risk will be with us as long as property prices are squeezed upwards due to lack of supply,” said Mr Howard Wang, head of the Greater China team at JF Asset Management.

(The measures mean) the government won’t use rates to a great extent. Inflation will not take off.

I am actually thinking both MBS and RWS are to supplement and complement each other, by way of bringing out the best of each other through cooperation and coordination rather than staying as each other's opponent.

Travelling is hassle free from one place to another in singapore. Free transport shuttle service between the 2 IRs benefits them as well as the tourists.

I am seeing a thriving outlook for both IRs .

yeah hor ! Casino packed until must go under peoples' armpits then can stretch my hands to place my bets. Too many hands stretched out over and above peoples' heads so i prefer stretched my hand underneath armpits and used other people's chips to place bet.... hahaha!

The charge filed on GS should tells a stunning tale if it were true, and it implies the big holes available in the market to slaughter the unwary investing public. I believe it is a crime to profit out of a scheme, such as knowingly shorting an instrument be it stocks, bonds or mortgage_securities when you know that the packages you market will bond to fail or drop in prices for you to profit. In deed if true this is a hideous crime. Shorters beware that you are doing a right thing unknowingly and not otherwise. Hehe.
