Hi everyone,
I got a stock that has been suspended due to request by the company. Is there a time limit on how long such a suspension can be ? Surely it can't be suspended for a whole year ?
Thanks. |

Trading is not just about using the technical indicator. It is not about how much you can win at one go. It is about how discipline you are. Follow the set of rules that you determine. Your trade volume is not anyhow determined. Your trade volume should always be related to the amount that you willingly to risk.

I look from investing point of view, a penny worth that I invest my money I joint a penny % of the company share holding, let say I bought more than 50% of the total company share holding I might join as a substantial holder and start managing the company activities and at the same time enjoying its profit in the of either dividend or paper capital gain or just acting as a sleeping partner to that company. The lower price that I could buy sharing the % of the company holding the better worth my investment value that I invest to!
iPunter ( Date: 02-Dec-2010 17:35) Posted:
This shows you did not read one of my earlier comments about this point. I said one must separate a company from its shares. Though they are intimately related, a company and it's shares must be treated as two separate entities. This is because a company's fundamentals, etc can be excellent and remain the same at any stretch of time, and yet it's share's price can fluctuate over a very wide range. And this market fluctuation in price is what people are betting on to make money. The market is the market. Demand and supply, both rational and irrational, is what the market is about...

Chart pattern suggest that this counter is forming a falling wedge(since mid Sept 10). Falling wedge suggest a reversal. Confirmation upon break out from this pattern, around 0.99-1.00 area, or lower depends on how long it takes to break-out.
*Only my personal analysis.Ignore if u dun agree.
Note: Falling wedge not necessary always reverse.

Midas Holdings (MIDAS SP, $0.935, BUY, TP $1.15) – Midas has made the first move towards utilising the estimated $240m proceeds from its October 2010 Hong Kong dual-listing exercise, announcing plans to set up a second plant. Though still in the preliminary stages, we think the move will give a much-needed respite to investors buying into its long-term prospects.
