The stock is poised for big gains this week. If you notice the sell down on Friday, it was roughly 10 million sold down to $1.46 and roughly more than 20 million shares bought up to $1.505.
I think this is positive.

Looking at more information coming out, I will admit DBS is ok to buy at ard 13.60, but as it is dividend time, must be careful when approaching the ex-date.

The U.S. Navy would move to stop any Iranian attempt to lay mines in the Strait of Hormuz or Persian Gulf as an “act of war” the international community wouldn’t tolerate, the U.S. Navy’s top Gulf commander said.
Iran’s inventory of thousands of mines “represents an indiscriminate and very difficult maritime problem,” comparable to the improvised roadside bombs used in Iraq and Afghanistan to kill U.S. troops, Vice Admiral Mark Fox, commander of the U.S. 5th Fleet, told reporters at his Bahrain headquarters and on a conference call today.
“The laying of mines in international waters is an act of war,” Fox said today. “We would, under the direction of the national leadership, prevent that from happening. We always have the right and obligation of self-defense and this falls in ‘self-defense.’
‘‘If we did nothing and allowed some’’ mining, ‘‘it would be a long and difficult process to clear them,’’ Fox said. |

Though we should count our blessings, we also must not forget that we are not that better off than many in other countries. Look at many families here, and what do their family members do for a living? I am sure they aspired for nobler jobs after univiersity, but many migrated and some could not help but went to the transport sector that pays well because of influx of foreigners. Haha, LKY's soft immigration policy has dual effects! Firstly it helps foreigners to plant their roots here while Singees to plant their roots elsewhere. Secondly it creates jobs for those less choosy.
My suggestion for any official complains that Sporeans are choosy or lazy to work, is to introduce national service style compulsion for people reaching working age. If you are " eligible" you have to work or else fine the family, but govt must provide the job and you should not refuse. NS style. hahaha.

it's actually very sad what has happened with Greece and wil some families not able to even raise their child and having too leave them at the doors or churches or orphanages.
every woman is someone's grandmother mother sister wife daughter granddaughter. we are lucky to not be in such situation else we might be talking about ourselves.

Do not be alarmed at today's market. Has been anticipated. And notice it is just immitating the action of the DOW. Last night Dow opening was firm, and SGx this morning was like Dow's early morning firmness.
Around US lunch time, it fell and Sg around noon today fell.
Later part of the day DOW tried to recover, but manage to gain on abot 5 points.
So if we sync the STI with DOW's performance, we can expect today's later session that some prices to lose very little with the STi probably level or up very insignificantly.
Important today is Friday. Both very important day. DOW on Friday likes to do historical things, so maybe 300 points down or 300 points up. So just keep cool and manage your positions well. My thoughts, lol.

Yesterday I said, stay away when it was 1.57 although initially thought good buy below 1.60 with the current bull mart., but seeing how they played down, I sense some bad insider news about to break. That may be the reason for the fall. Not vested or did not short it.

My friend told me buy buy, but I scared because not much money left, all in overseas stocks. Actually Yan Lord and Yingli are very good investments. Once more funds are ready, will go in these two.

My guess, tomorrow will be 11 to 12 cents, if not then next week, depending on market still ok without any damaging circumstances.

At the current market bullishness, no. If yes, a counter or two. BIG price could be a sell out after BB accumulation mostly unnoticed from below $1.40 to $1.62, then dumped for a good profit. This will mean some bad insider news. Stay away from this one is best.

This kind of drastic drop after climbing so much steadily,
for a solid steady stock like this one, it's is really unexpected.
