Why Taxing The Rich Is Good For America

Warren Buffett

Last week, Warren Buffett wrote an incredible opinion piece in The New York Times asking the federal government to raise taxes on the wealthiest Americans, himself included. " My friends and I have been coddled long enough by a billionaire-friendly Congress," he argued. " It's time for our government to get serious about shared sacrifice."

RWS seeks to fill 1,000 vacancies Ong Dai Lin dailin@mediacorp.com.sg SINGAPORE — While Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) used to draw crowds of 6,000 to 8,000 to its recruitment fairs in 2009 during the economic downturn, a turnout of 500 to 600 now would be enough to make the integrated resort “very happy”. The tight job market has made it a challenge for RWS to hire, as it looks to fill about 1,000 vacancies for its new facilities, which will include a maritime museum and aquarium and two hotels, said senior vice-president of HR and training Ms Seah-Khoo Ee Boon.

Who told you foreingers not allowed to buy? EArly years , it was allowed.

They will have to change their decision if not, the housing will face bubbles very soon.

Foreigners are not allowed to buy China properties AFAIK, their housing demand is generated domestically.

There is a big difference between there and Iskandar Region.

There will be a considerable amount of profit taxes if you want to dispose off your properties in Malaysia if you are investing as a foreigner thru the Malaysia My 2nd home program.

And when all the foreigners decided to cash in at the same time, you will be caught off guard big time in my opinion.

It will be good that if you are buying property there for retirement purpose or for a weekend get-away stay and not for speculative purpose in my opinion.

By the way, I am born in Malaysia.
