With the global economy picking up after its near demise since third quarter of 2008, even the worst feared counters will report earnings come the next financial reporting. I firmly believe this and am not so worried about the Greek's problems. They can solve these among the Europeans with a little the most a little hassle. I am more worried of the Asian side if I were trading Asian stocks. Thailand political crisis if solved will boost the Asean stocks for sure.

Time for sGX to wake up!! OVER supply is the ENEMY of the bull.

So many IPOs since past few month sresulted in many millions had been channelled into IPOs stocks (which includes coroporate buy backs, insider sales etc) and the net changed of trading floats of shares will be at the negative zone which in turn, lessening inflow cash to other stocks.

If they continue to allow this, Underwriters get the money ,(as much as 8%?? commission?) the ipo company gets the money, SGX gets the money.................

Investors eat shit.

A vivid Short seller will not care whether stock is promising or not. Anything is HIGH, they short! LOL!

If this company fails, SGX should start to relook at those foreign compnaies that are going to be listed here. If investors lose money, wouldnt it be part of the responsibility of SGX and the fund manager who allow that company to be lsited here without having to fully understand the company's ABILITY to be stayed 'investable' for the investors for the long term?

It's profit drop 73.4% YoY and not given any dividend since 2008.

This counter is supposed to be a promising stock and it is now going down hill. Do not know how long it will take to recover to its previous glorious days. Hope the downtrend is only a short period.

For non-punter (those who punt stock up and down every day.) , i can only do the cost averaging especially in the down market period. May be once a month contribute 5 - 10% to the stock ? This is part of the strategy to stay long-term investment in the market for , NO one can time the market, but can take advantage of the market's movement.

p/s - This cld happen to MRT trains which travel on 'raised' uncovered tracks making it vulnerable to lightning ?

P/s - Medical w hospitalisaion - ALWAYS insure the MAXIMUM coverage (if 500,000, go for it) for there are many times where

        patient has not enough to cover medical expenses and end up paying a lot of cash or cant pay to the hospital.

        If cant afford maximum, try to go for 2nd max. No point go for only 60,000 or 100,000 etc, if the premium is not much

       difference, dont save on this type of policy though it has no insurance elements in it,

       but given the ever-increasing medical expenses, its worth paying.

If cant afford all family members under such coverage, BREAD WINNERS of the family should at least have sufficient medical coverage before its too late. :)

I like your CAKE's theory.!!

Lets say :

Genting is carrot cake - got dark sauce with 'cai poh'., and light sauce type with eggs and also some with oyster? or yam in side? All are truly enticing and super nice with chilli! how hot you want, just tell the stall seller, they add for you pepper and lots of chilli. Creative side can add carrot or vege or anything you think is nice to fry with carrot cake?

Sands - fruit cakes. bake the cake with all sorts of fruits, sweet ones, sourish ones, they are all beautiful and colourful to look at. can add cheese , or anything you like to the fruit cakes.
