There's no such thing as "charting is 'true' or 'not true' "... A chart is just a chart. No one can predict anything by studying a chart. But a chart is only useful as a record of prices and direction up till the present moment. No matter what people bet after studying a chart, it is still only a bet.

Okay ... so i found this blog that was huge on teching and really good coverage and insights to the charting..www.diaryofasingaporetrader.blogspot.com .. only \ Downside is that not many posts so far and can;t find alot of fundamental analysis from this dood... pretty good estimation though .. i'm going to spot him and see if his charting and predictions true anot... probably discuss alot of his topics mentioned here so i decided to create a thread.. hope you all don't mind

well i think PL is just moving funds for his take over. Healthway as long as they make money even with e expansion expense its ok. they r still making money. what i do not wanna see if them losing money . though they better be careful with their spendings.I am for e expansion.Right idea but can the management pull it off. with the results might be pulling it a little thin haha

Just studied past three Q results and see what pk2010 and some of you others are saying.
Yr on Yr, looks horrible but 3rd Q vs 2nd Q is showing improvement in rev as well as profit. May be a good sign.
Also, report about Guru Peter Lim selling off some shares should also note that he's still holding almost 5% of the company. Suspect, it's something to do with staying below 5% for some reason or another. Almost immediately after, he makes takeover offer for TMed. Somehow I think this is linked. |

U cannot compare Pacific HC with Healthway.

Well the profit lower is due to expansion & absence of deadly flu of last year. The good news is their profit is still blue in color & not red even with their aggressive expansion in line.
Will top up more at correct price if it drop further. My faith for this one is on their expansion that i believe should see significant expansion in revenue next year.

some random thoughts:
in the last 12 mths to 18 mths, people have put off having non urgent medical procedures, but you cant hold off forever, as the economy recover, more money for these procedures.
with the china investment for healthway, i figured, as the yuan appreciates, the profit from china will be good contributor.
what do you think, doctor?

Odds of a 2001 crash is imminent. Predict STI and DJ crash in 4Q 11.

Look, recently I went to China 3 tier city for a business trip and happen to ask the colleagues there what do they think of their property sector after the communist regime has fired savos into crippling the sector?
Guess what, they say a lot of speculation is still on going even though the main residents are hardly having enough dime to buy their 1st unit. And they also mentioned that more often than not, government official will be the first one to buy several units at the top units from the developers at favourable rates and then resell to 2nd buyers or in fact speculators at discount rates within weeks of transactions.
If you think China property is still healthy , probably those in the rural area farm house, not the urban 1st tier or even 2nd or 3rd tier.
Probably take another good look if Shanghai property starts to vibrate down 20%.
Otherwise leave them alone for the time being.
Rem property counters are cyclic, so buy at the bottom not the top. And now the price are hardly near any bottom or middle. So be patience.In fact this YL is even more dangerous than Yanlord in terms of fundamental exposure. at least Yanlord is considerred preium housing developer.
