Sure or not?????? On wat basis is the payout more generous.

Pl. elaborate.

Heard that of the 2 casinos,  RWS genting's payout is more generous.

This shows that 'small is beautiful'.   As in the case of MBS,it is much bigger ,but,  too many tables and slot machines have diluted its spread of payouts to each games, i think.

Wrong, still got licence for junket operator & additional tables to open with more dealers coming in.

On the downside, right issue or share placement as the other half need money.

It looks like the picture "Bottom fishing "  ..........the more you fish, the wider the gap.

This is because the Greedy fishermen (BBs), put too many baits on the hook wanting to lure the fish (retailers),  so all the  fishermen do the same thing and the sea become over croweded (over sold) with fishing rods.   All fishing rods entangle together forcing  the baits get off the hook and sink deeper into the sea.(stock plunge, and all start to short and sell)    .      The  fish need to dive into the sea deeper and deeper all the way to the bottom i.e. sea bed to eat the baits.

Those fish who go to the bottom to look out for baits, are the winners because, the fish eat the baits without its mouth being HOOKED to the fishing rod's hook.

LOL

Ozone,  we are into a very interesting topic as in :  if paper money not in use any more, those who owns the gold, can they also survive?    You have any scenario to quote and discuss, plse do so!  Tks :)

But for me, if i were to be  BreadTalk boss, will i sell my shop to you in exchange for  your gold?   I think i will not, because , my family and i need food, and the bread is the only food i have at hand. I dont need any other things for that time being except basic survivior.

P/s - right now, can gold bar earns you interest and dividends?

Why do you think hyperinflation is coming?

I understand we'll have inflation because as more money are printed, commodities price goes up.

But, Hyperinflation is a very serious problem.

It is when everyone has loss hope in paper currencies and dumping them for commodities.

Although right now, the Euro is badly beaten down, but I don't think the world will not be abandon it. At least not in a situation like this one.

A sudden fall in Euro could spark an hyperinflation, but the world can afford a hyperinflation or any government will allow it.

If an hyperinflation occurs, you and I'll be queuing outside breadtalk, buying a loaf of bread for hundreds or thousands of dollar.

G20 countries will meet to discuss tighter control on speculation which led to panic reactions......

"In the past week we have experienced ... how there has been speculation against the euro, our currency," she told the German Federation of Trades Unions. "This calls for more regulation......

P/S -   Who is culptrit speculating agsinst the euro, their currency for past few weeks??   Soon to be found out.  Thy are set to tighten  controls on Hedge funds and private equity and this should be with immediate to avoid further damage to the market.

The best way to make $ is to short at the top...

Not after the market has already fallen for 2 months...

Because shorting at the top means more meaty and juicy rewards...

Thus, short and then holding long-term is the only way to invest in bear markets...Smiley

reuters, 17/05 09:33 CET

BERLIN (Reuters) – Greece’s austerity programme is sustainable only if investment and economic growth in the country can be stimulated, Prime Minister George Papandreou was quoted on Monday as saying.

Papandreou told Handelsblatt newspaper that he believed Athens could implement its programme of reforms and major budget savings, although the government also had to ensure that the weakest members of society were protected.

Papandreou also said that he had written a letter to U.S. President Barack Obama jointly with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Nicolas Sarkozy and Eurogroup chairman Jean-Claude Juncker on whether the market in credit default swaps should be closed.

Papandreou acknowledged that the government’s austerity programme, demanded as a condition for a bailout by the EU and IMF, would cause a deep recession in Greece.

“This savings programme was the only way to avert the threat of a state bankruptcy,” he said. But he added: “The programme can be sustainable only if we stimulate investment and growth.”

Nevertheless he said the programme, which has brought Greeks onto the streets in sometimes violent protests, was achievable. “I believe we can implement our programme. But we must ensure that the weakest in our society don’t fall into the abyss.”

Papandreou criticised financial markets for overreacting to Greek’s debt crisis and accused speculators of helping to provoke panic reactions.

“Angela Merkel, Nicolas Sarkozy, Jean-Claude Juncker and I have suggested in a joint letter to Barack Obama whether the markets for credit default swaps … should not be closed. The G20 countries want to discuss this,” he said.
