Caveat emptor You make your own decision. Some members see opportunity for accumulation. Some  foresee a sell down coming soon. ??? Would appreciate some analysts to come out with some facts and figures. Then you  weigh the pros and cons to make a decision. In addition, do your own research. Cheers

In the market place there is always tips, rumours, herd's instinct, fear. When people run, you also run without knowing the reason why these people are running.Must be careful to see that you don't fall.

Development charges rise from50% to 70%.You don't have to worry too much about this. When developer pay for the land purchage, the DC will be factor in.. It is a matter of buying high and sell higher. The ball is at the property buyer court. It is up to you whether you want to purchase the property  or not.

Only 3 million share for public subscription. I am not going to waste my time and my $2.00.

The public will try their luck and the underwriter will boast about so many many times overscribed.

Good luck to you guys but not for me..

DBS Group Research recommend a call buy today at $4.38. Target price $5.25. There is an upside of 20% Facts:-1. Sky@eleven all sold out.

2.Valuation of Paragon is very good.

                                   3. SPH advertising revenue is increasing.

                                   4. Newsprint price is lower

Please correct me if any fact above is wrong. This is what I know.Maybe there are some other factors which I still not aware of . Very keen to learn more about this counter because vested. Contributions most welcome. Thanks.

My own personal observations:-

1.Very often research houses make buy call during bull market.

2.Very often they make a buy call,I want to buy the counter recommended but found that the price has already

move up. Well if ppl sell and u buy,u will get caught. Ceveat emptor.

3.Do your own research before you commit yourself.

4. Your remisers should be able to assist.

5. Good luck.

To teeth53 U stated that NetResearch recently value YangZijiang at oni 70 cts.Do u know base on which types of valuation. Perhaps the Company, Underwriter,Banker and those involve in the IPO can enlighten the public who subscribe per share at 95 cts.Why the valuation different so much.Maybe I have to wait for a long long time for the price to fall to 70 cts and go in.. To all the ppl who are interested in this counter, please join me and wait for it to go down to 70 cts. Cheers and good luck.

shplayer and other invested. For your info ONLY. Caveat Emptor  apply.

Just read this report :Analysts Update SPH : Buy S$4.62 Price Target:  12-mth S$5.20.

AC Nielsen's latest AdEx figure show that SPH's newspaper display ad revenues for Jan 2007 grew by 14.7%yoy for the first 5 mths of SPH's FY (Aug-Jan) display ad volumes were up by 7.8% yoy. This latest set of encouraging figure reinforces their belief that SPH's AdEx revenues in 2007 should be better than recent years'. With the Singapore economy remaining firm and consumer sentiment still buoyant, we should see spending on advertising continuing to rise, with SPH being a prime beneficiary of this trend. Maintain BUY and our 12-mth target price of S$5.20 which is based on sum-of-the-parts valuation. Our target Price implies upside of 13% and a net yield of over 6%.
