1) Since June/Jul I say No Double Dip
2) Market Valuation looks good with so many solid company full of cash
3) Remember I say Buy Yesterday :) - Today is a Buy too
4) STI will Test 3200 - Year End

I say there will be a funny week in late july ... did the market behaving funny ? up 1 day and down the next day - no direction....

I say STI will break 3000 by Aug 9 :) -- When everyone say market gonna crashed :P

I say Penny Stock will chiong from today :P Go count the top volume counters how many are penny stocks.

I am just trying to help :) But Remember BOSAYOR - No one can be 100% accurate 90% is consider very very good.

1) Nikkei ---> Market did not open today...
2) Market will experience some correction .... Not crash ...

However, Asia markets are quite caution. Except for Nikkei, there is not much movement.

Anyway, STI is already in the overbrought region and any rally would be limited.

From now on, we have to be very selective in what we Buy and we must be prepared for the down turn.

Your best bet is to Buy undervalued Mid-Cap and Small-Cap stocks; and prepare to short the overvalued Blue Chips.

I'm waiting to see how Europe and US performance later of the day. They would determine the move for the week.

This is my personal opinion, you invest at your own risk.

Yes, I make money.

Market did not crash.

DOW 261 point drop is because:

1. DOW has 7 straight days for up run, it is overdue for a fall. This fall is much needed and good for the market.

2. AoB and JP Morgan results are not as good as most analysts think and US Market is worry about their financial sector performance in the near future.

All these are pretty much contain in US.

This is not to say that STI would not react to this drop, I think it would, just that I don't think its a crash.

I've not brought US stocks for a long time and I don't think I would buy them in the short term too.

My focus is still in Asia.

hmmm only half correct :P

When Export to US and Europe drop as demand falls. It will hit asia too... we are all connected ... think like domino effect.
Example when people earn lesser people are wont travel offen .... look what happen in late 2008 - early 2009.

Certain Issues you have to consider.

1) China has to do something about its cooling effects. It has to balance up the trade further. I can tell you this Only CHINA can save the world now :)
2) Countries around the world will be seeing the fading of stimulus effect. They have to make something happen fast before something bad starting to roll.
3) US Jobless Rate Drop to 429,000 this week .... good news ... but Empire State show slow manufacturing....
4) Singapore this year will be good but what i am worried is next year if things around the world didnt turn around fast....

I still expect market to be tank for a bit till next week..... Good Luck !

There's a huge amount of money 'floating around' waiting to be poured into good markets.

Whilst the US and European markets appear to be 'climbing on a wall of worry',

    this may not be critical for the Asian bourses.

       Because even if the US and European markets are not climbling, or even faltering,

             the Asian bourses should have a life of it's their own,

                  since that is where the big promise is in the overall scheme of things in the immediate future.

                        Thus, we can expect good performance there no matter what happens to the western markets... Smiley
