really these people i hope they are not singaporeans. no brains. no eq. think they so right. xia sway. If im e european lady i will yell at them study in raffles place at such young age..must be those ah tas enrichment school. so rich next time drive there. Really if im in the train they sure kena from me.
but on the other note. e Universal studio one....good for you. I wished i was there to witness that. I sure will stood up n clapped.

Train to cityhall @9 am
As usual my 3 year old niece took a train with my sister( her mother) and myself ( her aunite) to her school in raffles place. She approached a lady seated at the priority seat for a seat. The lady happened to be a European lady which very pregnant. The european lady was apparently very affected by this innocence request and started to comment that this request is not acceptable. When a kind lady seated beside the European lady offered her seat to my niece, she told the kind lady that she should not have offer the seat to the child. She added on by asking the kind lady her age and went on to say that how can a 40 year old woman give up a seat to a child. A child needs to learn and lady should not give up the seat as people will take advantage of them.
Felt unjust I went forward to confront her on what is the issue of letting a child to seat in a moving train. She went on to say the same thing mentioned earlier which simply does not sound logical to me.
The people in the train start whispering and telling my sister to ignore this european lady. Some mentioned that it is a culture differences. When the European lady got off the train at city hall, someone in the train told my sister that the European lady demanded a seat from a guy before a board the train.
Now is it cultural differences ? A bully at act? Ungracious behavior ? Or ???

| theres no food shortage in real terms. just the poor country cannot afford it. go do some research n look at certain local supermarket how many tons of expiry or so call not fresh food are being throw away aka destroyed. it happens everywhere. they even destroy tons of corn just to make sure the price is right. its just speculation.
current mkt is due for mild correction next week.
buy on dip. certain stocks are oversold must really buy hhahaha :)

that is an extremely good piece of advice. Thanks. not alot of people are lucky to have a parent who can teach. I know someone (when he was starting out)who is a fund manager(US) he also lost a few millions or his own n his dad's n his clients money before his dad(same line) took him in hand n literally sit him beside his desk n show him step by step. Even with a professional dad e priviledge also fail. Who are we to think we wanna fly before we can crawl. so learn slowly n in our own means.mind u i am talkin about years ago where money is big okie. US currency was something back den. unlike now

I agree.. u just have to learn the mistakes you made and regroup. its like mahjong. you have to be in it to learn. just don't punt big when you are learning. and always play with money you have.
