Are they going to Genting highland? Just came back

last night.Genting highland, full house. Hardly any walking

space.

i dun think they are allowed to gamble in macau...not meh??but anyway my friend say their travel agency is pack full with china tourists all requesting to go to genting. so its good news....now just bonds sellers selling their 80 centfor profit taking.this share wont go as low as 80 cent one la if go so low the bonds takers make what...anyhow stupid genting release bonds so early shit them.

Investors who follow blindly the "noises" in the market

without first doing their own research may make the wrong

investments, e.g. pre CNY , many are speculating when they

will receive gaming licence, when opening date, etc, etc.

These factors does not warrant the share px. to go up at all.

As I have said, unless Genting SP can show me the $$$$$$$$.

0628 GMT [Dow Jones] News of Genting Singapore's (G13.SG) casino opening on Feb. 14 pushing share price higher. Stock +2.8% at S$1.10 vs S$1.09 at midday. But number of analysts have cautioned price likely to correct when casino begins operations, citing pullback in gaming stocks of operators in other markets when their casinos opened for business. "I think it's time to sell out because there's nothing much to drive interest from here on. Investors will be waiting to see whether the casino will live up to its hype," says dealer at bank-backed brokerage. With casino opening announced (Feb. 14), attention will shift to Resort World Sentosa's next major attraction Universal Studios theme park, which Genting says remains on track to open in 1Q10. 14th Feb 2010 Sum of the date is 26 (or 2026=10 a worse number). The number 26 has ominous property although it adds up to 8 a lucky number. Thus this is a less auspicious date to open business although it is a lunar new year day.

In my opinion BBs mean:- big boys, like the financial institutions,

fund managers, brokers,( like dealers & remisers ) acting for big

clients, etc,etc, those who trade very big lot. Some can even

influence the share px movements.

Base on what methodology do you arrive at this numbers???

Genting is an extraordinary stock :P You cannot treat this share like normal casino shares :) This is not a dumb hotel with a casino inside, you have to understand its business model and the attractions to know the potential.

Dont believe in a fresh grad or MBA analyst. Seriously Business and Study is different thing.

1) Genting is a Singapore first Casino with 2-3 months monopoly in singapore over its competitors.

2) It is an integrated resort for anyone its like a 1 stop paradise "Adults, Youth, Kids".

3) Strong BBs are supporting Genting prices. Accumulate more and more.

For every sellers there will be a willingly buyer and I think some bigger stake holders are trying to accumulate more as they realise Genting Potential.

I expect 13th Feb 2010 - Casino will be open in line with the CNY.

Genting PLC earnings will beat analyst expectations :)

TP: $1.6 - $2.0

Many forumers shouting about openings. Pl don't trick Uncles &

Aunties into believing that the openings will have an impact

on the share px. A very good example is this seamstress auntie

asking me to buy at $1.25, saying that the share px will SURELY

GO UP when it opens. I will only buy and sell on my own judgement.

Goldman Sachs : - Implications

Even disregarding whether Genting SP will open its casino for CNY

we think there is already too much undue investor optimism for its

Singapore casino. Genting SP now trade at 14X 2011E EV/BITDA, which

is the second most expensive globally vs. sector average of 8X and we see

significant de-rating risk, especially as gaming revenues such as VIP disappoint.

As we approach the casino opening, we highlight that past Macau gaming

shares have typically not performed well post the casino openings - four out

of six Macau shares fell post opening, and on a relative basis, five out of the six

underperformed their respective markets. We maintain our SELL rating/target

price and keep the stock on our Conviction List.
