lausk22....ehhh....this is in response to your post on SC ah....thought i'd shift it here to avoid distressing hikitty further....do go easy on her leh...it's very distressing if your portfolio is losing ya know....

anyhow, ehhh....by saying i have a lot of old men queuing up to be my godpapas....that's kinda like casting aspersions on my 'family' here, and on me too leh.... meh. but keke, it's all in fun ain't it? btw, i don't believe you've intro-ed yourself have you? what's the 22 behind for?

da gege, hehe, nice to know my big bro is so protective of me (and my pet). keke. and mehhh..... what's this about 'tackling'!!! ladies are not footballs.

bwah haha. elves can't be so crudely 'tackled'. As Coco Chanel once said, "A woman should never weigh more on a man's mind than a butterfly."

chinkiasu, ahhhh you have some really cute emoticons man. i like the puppy dog eyed one best still. it looks so woefully adorable. keke. and what's that 2nd one in a vortex? a bull run??? *puzzled*

family. sigh. the moment you reach marriageable age, they want to hitch you off. sigh. *woeful eyes* godpa and da gege doesn't want me anymore.....*singing out* "I am nobody's chhhhilldddddd..."

wehhhh.......

:P

a lot of large buy ups in morning, and large sell downs in afternoon. esp late afternoon--lots of more than 100 thrown.

ppl were probably doing a kilroy. (keke, kilroy, you see, now you've become an adjective. keke.)

have seen the actual price/vol action on this one. quite a lot of late afternoon sell downs in large vols. large buy ups in morn. one day doesn't make a trend tho, KIV and keep watch.

price/vol data and lead indicators are actually contradictory on this one, as brizy88 has observed.

hey jasjasjas, no prob, i'm vested in this too, so just sharing info. us small fries must stick together. :) btw, i'm a she, not a he. no gender realignment surgery hor. keke.

back to biz: update for yesterday's action. I know a lot of small retailers are selling; but i'll let the data speak for itself. As follows:

TA indicators: Chaikin, A/D, RSI, Williams all up consistently for at least 4 days. Price constant (despite heavy retail selling), bollies getting tighter each day. Implication is a breakout, likely upward.

Actual BU/SD data: sellers outweigh buyers. But insti/likely insti BU/SD:

SD: 502 lots via 8 sellers, ave lot size 62.

BU: 862 lots via 7 buyers, ave lot size 123.

Make your own calls yea. ;)

yep hikitty, fully concur with lausk22. don't believe there's even one person here who has always profited and never had a loss. and yes, even the best chartists will make mistakes--quite simply, it's impossible to beat the market 100% all the time. If it was, we'd all be rich already.

cheer up, yea. if you're sure SC is fundamentally sound, then really, just put it in your drawer and let it go to sleep for now. :)

k thanks, shplayer.

doing a simple FA calculation here:

Osim's previous year's NAV was 36c per share, it traded approx between 1.4 to 2. So ratio is abt 3.8-5.5x. We take a lower end estimate of 4x, this year's NAV is 30c per share. So fair value = 1.2. Lowest estimate =1.14 using 3.8x.

I'd estimate resistance at abt 1.11.

fyi analysts' call for osim ranged from 88c to $1.26.

is sporeguy here? wld like him to make a call on its resistance and supports....or if anyone else is able to?

hm...singaporegal, have been following this baby. think it's uptrending already, but would be cautious since it hasn't reported its FYE yet. might trigger another panic selldown if there's something untoward that hasn't been factored in its drop....

didn't think the upside was worth tho....plus, there's been quite a lot of large sell orders...

yep godpa. for me, i'd run esp if my profit is more than the divvy yield already. after all, the only real profit is the one that's locked in.

if unsure, standard practice i do is to keep half sell half.

For the ones considering to vest,

might be wise not to rush to enter yet....TA charts still down.

Pure charting for today: insti/likely insti BU/SD:

BU: 3680 lots via 31 buyers, ave lot size 118

SD: 4076 lots via 38 sellers, ave lot size 107.

Will continue watching this for a TA trade. has greater upside potential than osim if it starts a trend reversal. Not likely to be a contra tho, since the moment it hits certain targets, there's likely to be investors waiting to bail out. Bounce bounce pattern. keke.

For those vested, hang in there. :)

yep godpa,

STE's charts are strengthening again. Long term (as in early feb onwards) is an uptrend.

i think i called a target px sometime ago on this thread, abt 3.70-74. Need to revise that a bit 'cos i realised i missed one dip (pls don't kill me hor..):

fibo gives target of 3.6. a bit too tired to remember the FA target, sorry...

giantlow, on pure data alone, stamford tyres appears to be deader than a dodo. seems to come to life in april and june for a short period only. unless there's some compelling reason to hold on?

Standard disclaimer: make your own buy/sell calls hor.

hullo fellow allgreenies,

counter did not run up as much as i expected, probably due to retail sellers getting nervy. And yep l_tan888, will tell when i'm selling. Do note i have no net access at work tho, so likely to post late. In case i can't nip out to get access: Follow the BBs. :)

The following info for you guys, so you can make your own buy sell calls:

actual chart data (keke, mebbe we should take turns to do the work next time!):

sellers outweigh buyers 1.7 to 1. But note the following:

insti/likely insti BU/SD:

BU: 926 lots via 7 buyers, ave lot size 132.

SD: 456 lots via 7 sellers, ave lot size 65.

So a lot of action if you see volume, but little price movement. It's being controlled quite well. A lot of retail sells. One beautiful buy up of 605 lots late in the day. TA-wise, bollies tightening, AD and CO consistently up for 4 days already. implication of a breakout soon.

Cheers, all! :)

hey l_tan888,

no prob, i know how it's like to work and not have access to the internet too. *erk*

AG: likely to continue uptrend tomorrow. confirmed by its AD and CO charts today. all up for at least 3 days. RSI, williams all up as well. best of all, its bollies are pinching in. hehe.

and yep, your concerns are perfectly valid: they're mine as well. given that AG's fair value is btwn 1.33-1.44, it has really overstretched its premium already (of course, the calls were made by the BBs...so take it with a pinch of salt man). and yes, noticed too that most counters will dip after posting results, no matter if results good or not.

which is why AG is strictly a TA trade for me, and also why i said i'm looking to run friday/mon, all things remaining the same.

and yea. keep close watch on vol/price data. that's the best advice i can give. the moment you start seeing dumping of 50, 100, 200 lots, and only retail buy ups (<10 lots), that's your cue to dump too. you have quite a big amt tho, so perhaps try to split up your lots to sell? and hey, let us sell before you man! :P

BBs are buying into s'pore market still. that's why counters are up. if you noticed tho, the blues are mostly stagnating already. we're at 3rd wave, starting to enter its second stage, ie., rise of the midcaps. this was one of the broader reasons why i chose to play AG too. :)
