Do u have a cut loss figure?

hotokee      ( Date: 23-Feb-2010 09:43) Posted:

My entry price is 95 cents and I won't sell for a loss for this counter because of the nature of its business.  Should it go down, I will buy in incremental lots to average down.  Target is 200 lots and I have less than 20 lots now.

To me, this is a speculative stock at this point in time.

Either you win or loss, I will not keep this counter.

If the time is ripe, then I will keep for mid to long term.

Definitely not now.

My opinion oni, not a call.

Laulan      ( Date: 23-Feb-2010 09:17) Posted:

Good for collection.  I entered yesterday but did not take profit.  Consider buying more today.

The market favourtie can average down without fear.  Even if it went down it has the cyclical play for you to recover any losses.

Laulan      ( Date: 23-Feb-2010 09:12) Posted:

Longtermers should choose this time as the best time to enter. Anything lesser than 95 cents because this is the steady support price since opening.

Pl. don't ask ppl to throw away FA & TA. These ppl undergo

a series and disciplined professional training.Their write -up are

substantiated by facts and figures. You can read all the analysts

reports and form your own decision.. It's your choice. But pl.

don't pluck numbers in the air . You are responsible for your

Bought 10 lot @ .955 am

Waiting to sell 20 lot later.

Which type do I belong, hahaha

Cheers and good luck

smartrader      ( Date: 22-Feb-2010 14:29) Posted:

there are two types of short sellers.. one type wins money and the other one type  loses money.... money changing hands only.....

Today, SGX buying in did not show Genting, so the 2nd type has to cover back position everytime they short.... so this morning many short at below 96 cts have to cover back fast if not they will miss the boat and lose money when it goes up to $1...

according to LKY in ST today, the house earned 3.5m on the 1st Day of operation and 3.7m on the second day! So, it's up to u to interpret how this reflects its potential. Agree that competition will be fierce once Marina Sands opens its door. (they must be hurrying everyone to try to open as early as possible seeing RWS's roaring biz.)

If you study this counter carefully, you will notice that a lot of investors

balloted during the IPO. They accumulated when the px is around 40 cts.

1st selling - over $1 Around 60 - 66 cts, another round or accumalation.

2nd selling - $1.20-$1.30 range.

Read 1 forumer's uncle bought a new merc.

moneycow      ( Date: 19-Feb-2010 10:28) Posted:

Those selling down in big bulk must be those bought when it was 61cents..........or even when it was 38 cents. so they  still make a big buffer profits. those came in later whom bought above $1.15. Sad. Heart feltt pain pain.  Paper lost. Holding and  scepticle if to sell and swallow the big lost. Or wait and hope things get better. Quite in between.  But those whom bought at super low price of below 40cents still can afford to sell lower and still make a handsome sum.

Thats the thing. Only if this big holders at low price stop selling further down. It will stabalised and move upwards.

Or it could only see one way that is - down and down further.
