Brazil and China seek co-operation on Stock Market

Brazilian and Chinese stock market representatives participated Tuesday in the first Brazil-China Capital Markets Forum, in Sao Paulo, to seek joint business opportunities in the sector.

In the forum, which was sponsored by the Sao Paulo and Shanghai Stock Exchanges, the representatives discussed the similarities and differences between the Brazilian and Chinese markets, as well as the market regulations in the 2 countries.

“This forum aims at increasing the cooperation between the two countries and improving its economies’ positions,” said Zhang Yujun, president of the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

He said the Brazilian and Chinese economies complement each other, and the Chinese are interested in partnerships with Brazil.

The country is expected to receive a lot of investments in the near future, not only from China, according to the president of Brazil’s Development Bank, Luciano Coutinho, who also participated in the forum.

According to Coutinho, Brazil will receive US$2T in investments in the next 4 yrs, and the investment level in the country will reach 23% of its GDP.

“We have a firm perspective of investments in the future,” he said.

you trade the SGX china stock listed, or  shares in shanghai / shenzhen listed.

if china, then choose shanghai index more potential but shenzhen ones quite stable also.

1) Deviation, what is the preferable range between low and high.

2) Sharpe ratio > 1, fund house / geography location and  examples...

this is just the basic. just an introduction for financial planning.

Here are some short summary of the article

1. 1st Step in Financial planning - Insurance. Always make sure you are well-covered. =)

2. 2nd Step in financial planning - Emergency fund. Always save 3-6 mth worth of money in your bank. Not more not less.

3. 3rd Step - Investing =) That's what most people here does. I also write a short summary on how to select a reasonably good unit trust.

2009 it made a loss of -65.2 mil.  Dont just jump in.. recal the intrinstic value again if you are going to do dollar cost averaging.

Armarda Group Limited  announced that the Group expects to remain loss making and report a loss for the financial year ended 31 December 2010. The loss is mainly attributed by impairment loss of intangible assets. More details on the final financial performance of the Group for the year ended 31 December 2010 will be provided when the Group announces its final results, which is expected to be on early March 2011
